I'm having an issue with dynamic lighting. Line of Sight seems like it's fine but I'm having the following problem. character Basil has no light source or way of seeing in the dark so he's set as 0 for light and "has Sight" Character Elastina has infravision so she's set for 60' light but not "All Players can see" If I remove light sources and Ctrl+L on Basil he can see Elastina's light; If I move her behind a small wall, he can see the spillover that comes around the wall (but not elastina herself). My expectation is that the whole screen should be black for him.

Just a note this seems to be an issue with Ctrl+L because I have the same issue using it from the GM perspective but not when I Rejoin as a Player. edit: GM View Ctrl+L on Peren: <a href="http://i.imgur.com/Li5VeKW.jpg" rel="nofollow">http://i.imgur.com/Li5VeKW.jpg</a> Peren's view as a player: <a href="http://i.imgur.com/qDV6FRQ.jpg" rel="nofollow">http://i.imgur.com/qDV6FRQ.jpg</a>
D'oh, Yes, I see that it is working if I don't rely on Ctrl+L and log in as a player with myself specified as the controller. Thanks
I think there is indeed a bug where currently Ctrl+L is including other light sources that the GM can see but a player wouldn't be able to see. I'll look into this shortly.
Not a new bug, but a bug that apparently got fixed by the issue: no more resizing the window to hack the Fog of War! (on chrome i could still reproduce that until a week ago) Just wanted to say that I finally chose to support Roll20 after using it for a while and thank you for all your hard and amazing work! :D
I noticed an issue with the macro command @{target}, that if there is a mistake in the code or you select an invalid target you get stuck in the target selection screen.
My friend is having a connect problem, when he tries to enter my campaing it works perfectly, when he tries to enter my friend campaing that we are going to play and he cant connect, I dont know whats happening, we tried everything.

If you click select a different function from the tool bar on the left e.g. "Select\move" icon it will clear the macro popup window.

The new Token settings window is great, but in the advanced tab "Edit" is ticked for all player permissions by default?

SeanArcher, yes. I believe it was decided that it made more sense for them to be automatically ticked on than off. A lot of user requests about GMs not having to do so much when granting players control over things may have led to this decision.
I am noticing some issues with the angle of lighting and vision. whenever i select a number thats less than 360 the arc comes out of the BACK of the token. I am hoping this is not on purpose.

It's a shame that EVERY token I import into Roll20 comes in 'backward' though, with the turning stick to the back. It makes sense that that would be 'forward' though, it does help with seeing immediate facing when looking at a selected token. Now, my next questions, is there any way to offset the vision or light arc toward the back of the token a little bit? When I set a token's vision arc it cuts right through the middle of the token, covering half of the token and completely covering the nameplate and/or bars depending on the direction the token is pointing. If the vision/ light arc could be offset toward the 'back' of the token, that would be amazing!
@Jason W. I too would like to have the vision/arc flipped instead of having to flip every single token I import. Pretty much ever Devin Night token is facing down when created. It would have been nice to have that be the default for vision / facing too.
My campaign has been displaying the following message for the last hour. Any advice on what I should do? Upgrade In Progress We're doing a little spring cleaning to optimize your campaign. Please wait... Please do not press the back button or close this window.

If it still gets stuck (takes more than a minute or two to complete) let me know the name of the Campaign on your account and I'll take a look.
Same issue as above with my "Rise of the Runelords" campaign
@Greg I just joined your game it looked like you were in it so I assume it fixed itself?

I just took a turn through the marketplace, and every top down token (arguably the most common type and the ones most likely to have a vision/light arc set) are facing the bottom by default. Based on this, I could definitely get behind flipping of the arc.

Based on this, I could definitely get behind flipping of the arc. My main reasoning for having the light "close toward the top", so to speak, is because that's where the rotation handle is. If the light were flipped, then you would not be able to see the rotation handle for anything but 360-degree vision. My intent is to continue to work on this feature and get it to where the handles themselves, and possibly the token as well, are drawn "on top" of the shadowing layer, so that they aren't blocked. If I can do that then it may make sense to flip the way the light works.

Cool, thanks Riley.
That sounds great Riley. I think that the bars and handle and token itself should probably be able to be seen. I also think that offsetting the vision/ lighting arc to the rear of the token, instead of in the middle would be a GREAT idea so it doesn't cut off the token, though if the entire token was always visible to the owning player, then it wouldnt be a problem at all I suppose.. Thanks again for all the great work you all are doing on this project!
Good thing Riley did not have anything else to do this week &lt;grin&gt; Great support and Bug Hunting!

@Riley: are you aware that access to all bios/notes (anything with a text editor I think) is broken in the API? Source

Alex , have you filed an bug report in the API forum regarding this? That is the best place for API specific bug reports.

If I can do that then it may make sense to flip the way the light works. If we could have two or more light / sight sources on a token, it would allow us to add a personal light source to player controlled tokens that would light up that token and maybe a tiny sliver more, so that players would always be able to see where their token is.

Hm, it seems that every token I load, including the ones form the Roll20 market place are loaded "backwards". Perhaps it would be better to just simply correct the root problem than to require end-users to spend their time reversing every single token one at a time.
Hi iam having a major problem with my own campains and other peoples, I seem unable to view their pictures and tokens along with anything els they have uploaded to there campains, likewize all of my campains seems to have gone blank. please help
