We are currently reducing the content on Gamers for Christ to deal with performance issues.  All of the content is being preserved by being moved to other locations. Currently, monster sheets are being moved to a Monster Compendium of sorts. If there are any questions, let us know.

A vote was conducted by the DMs and the decision was reached that we will not be using the variant flanking rules in Gamers for Christ. This decision was made to achieve consistency as players change from one DM to another.
Also, a vote was conducted and the Elemental Evil Players Companion has been added to material approved for use in Gamers for Christ. A DM, may however restrict anything he sees damaging to his campaign, for example Aarocokra having flight at first level.

A new and improved downtime log is available! Check it out! It is much easier to follow, much easier for DMs to update, and has a new look!

DM Update: July 2017 Hey everyone, I hope everyone is doing well, and I am glad to see so many of you still with us. I know we as DMs have been sort of quiet for the last month or so but we have run into a few problems. These are not insurmountable problems, but they do require some creative problem solving. First, an admission: We simply do not have enough DMs. Right now, we have to my knowledge, five active DMs and only three of those are working with 5th Edition. Mark and Lynn are doing a great job producing Open Legend content and we encourage you to jump on opportunities to be a part of their playtests as they are both talented artists and storytellers. Open Legend is a different, but fun system, and we hope to have more DMs to handle that system soon as well, as the demand for OL content continues to rise in our community! However, back to our DM shortage. We have three active 5th Edition DMs who are all currently running long-term campaigns. Not to mention, some DMs run games not necessarily affiliated with G4C. Therefore, without some of you stepping up to try a hand in DMing, we cannot keep up with the demand for games , it is simple as that. We have been actively trying to recruit new DMs both in G4C and outside and we have limited to success. You want more games? We hear ya, we want more too! But we must have more DMs to step up. Second, thank you for filling out the survey! We are still collecting the data and are talking about ways to address some of your concerns as a DM team. However, only nine of you have filled out the survey so far. This is hardly a representation of the active players on this site. Please take a few minutes to help us to understand where we are at as a community. The more we know, the more we can try to step in and help. We will not be able to make everyone happy, but we do want you to know that we have heard what you have to say. We value your input! Third, remember this is a Christian community. One of the things that makes G4C unique is that we are group table top roleplayers who love Jesus and want to be Christ to those both inside and outside the church. The G4C Code of Conduct was written so that we would respect each other. You do not have to a Christian to be a part of our community, but we do ask that you would abide by our Code of Conduct while you play here. Adherence to this code is binding not just on you as a player, but we as DMs as well. As DMs we have the responsibility to be sure to keep the game at tasteful, respectful level at all times; we must be the ones to call excessive or aggressive language and we must do so more often, especially if a player lets us know that it bothers them. We will do more as DMs to make sure that our games remain honoring to Christ in our communication and practice. Thanks for being patient with us, as a lot of things are still be worked out. We love you all in Christ!
Nice

There have been delays in the release of the Open Legend books. Because of that, Lyn and I have shifted back to writing some one-shots for 5e D&D for a couple of reasons... 1. The Boggersman is selling well! Woot! 2. We need to supplement more income until Open Legend is released. I discussed things with Lyn and we both agreed that we would like to do the following with our playtests for G4C... 1. Offer at least one session per week for members of G4C.  2. Offer DM training to those interested.  ALSO If we can get someone interested in GMing Open Legend to step up, we will also offer to teach that person the ropes and give them access to the first module we are writing to run here at G4C.

I know several other have enjoyed OL as well. Thanks for offering this for the community!
If you have time and able to work with me I would like to learn the ropes of DMing. thank you.
Another announcement: I'm back! Still deployed though, but I have internet. I *may* be able to start DMing again, but doing so will be kind of difficult as I am GMT +3 and I currently work afternoon shifts. If or when I return to DMing, I will most likely be running primarily One Shots / Short Series games (similar to Findle's Guide, but shorter). As always, folks who haven't been able to play always come first. Let me know if/when you are available any day after 9pm GMT and I will see if my schedule allows for me to run a game. God bless.
Great to hear from you again.
Nice to have you back Gunnar.

Welcome back Gunnar!
Hey everyone! Our DMs will be hosting their own self-contained servers as a means to give diverse opportunity for games and to reduce stress on the main server. The first of these can be found here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/join/2344254/FknDvQ" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/join/2344254/FknDvQ</a>, where I will be the server moderator. Look out for new servers coming in the future. I encourage you to join this server as any modules I run outside of campaigns will be run from that server. Thanks!
