Hi there so I've been trying to get a dedicated game of Burning Wheel but it doesn't seem to be working well for long term play, so I thought why don't I try to get together people that are interested In the game but have not tried it to do a one shot to show off a little bit of the system. And Maybe Maybe get people interested in a little campaign but if not then at least we have had an enjoyable one shot session. Burning Wheel is a great roleplaying game where the focus is on character and their beliefs, it asks the players what they want to focus on and who their character is. Are they a noble that is above all the peasants or a soldier not wanting to use violence anymore. Then its the GMs job to push those beliefs using story and characters to ask "Well do you really believe that". Its also got intrigue and social situations at the core of the game. So looking for people that will be interested, if we get a few I can do a few One shot nights. We will be using The Gift to set up the game though I will probably be playing the Dwarves instead of the players just so the focus can be Beliefs and a more traditional roleplay experience.
