Hello, I have been playing tabletop rpg's, board games, war games, and crpg's for 32 years. Most of that time I have been a dm/gm/storyteller rather than a player. Due to the dissolution of my last real life group and getting into Critical Role and a couple of other gaming streams, my interest in playing has been rekindled. I would rather participate as a player right now over running anything, especially as I learn how to use roll20, but down the road could see myself running a group or 2. The main disadvantage I have is a rotating work schedule. I work nights, 4 on/4 off, and so can't commit to anything weekly/bi-weekly were it is a specific day (barring overtime I have the same day off 4 weeks in a row, then work it four weeks in a row). If anyone is able to work around that please let me know. Most of my experience has been with D&D/AD&D, from the basic set up to 4th. I recently got the 5th edition books and would like to learn more. I also played a lot of Palladium games (Rifts, Robotech, TMNT, Palladium Fantasy), Chaosium's game (Rolemaster, CoC, Elric), World of Darkness old stuff, Exalted, Traveller, Chill, Marvel Heroes, DC Heroes, Champions, Warhammer Fantasy RPG, West End Games Star Wars, Dark Heresy, Shadowrun, Battletech/MechWarrior, and probably a bunch more that I can't remember. I still have my TSR/Wizards, White Wolf, and Warhammer book snad supplements. I appreciate both role-playing and tactical aspects of gaming. My preference would be for a solid mix of both. I would rather participate in something long term over one-offs. I am based in the EST Eastern United States time zone. Any night that I am off, I am available after 8 pm until 6 am the next morning. Again I know my schedule will cause there to not be a lot of options available. Thank you for your time in looking through this post, and thank you to roll20 for creating such an awesome tool and website
