Reset 5e monster manual tokens

Hi, I've been using top down tokens till now instead of standard ones from the monster manual add-on. Since I'm starting to think that is better to use default tokens I was wondering if there is a way to "reset" tokens without lose the macro I've set up for the monsters I've put in the game until now.
I'm not sure if I understand your concern. Are you wondering if changing your tokens from top-down to the MM tokens (I think they are pogs but I don't have the MM to confirm) will upset any of your macros. No, changing the image for a token should not mess with any of your macros for the character sheet. However, changing the image for a token WILL require you to link the new token to the character sheet and set any other values on the tokens (bar values, sight, auras, etc.) that were on the previous token.
You would need to drag and drop the monster from the MM that has the icon you want, during this process it will create a duplicate sheet if you already have something of the same name. From there you would need to select the newly created token and then set it representing the pre-existing monster you want to "reset" and the macros will start showing up on it.  The tricky part is that you will need to have to delete the old default and set the new default for every token you want to reset. You would then need to delete every duplicate that was caused from the compendium to appear. As it currently stands we cannot access as part of our library asset anything related to the MM without prior importing it into our games with the added garbage to the side. You can direct any hatred towards this to the devs. This will be a bearable experience if you happen to use the shaped sheet. You can just ditch the old stuff you were using and have the shaped companion script create all the macros with the click of a button for you (unless you have some specific macro).
