D10s Spin Like Tops

We've noticed D10s frequently spinning on their points like tops in the simulation. It makes the dice roller take quite a while to finish.
This is nothing compared to the "wandering D6". Sometimes our 6-sided dice embark on a journey across the map, never coming to a stop.

Sounds like the simulation needs to get its conservation of energy correct, or otherwise add more friction and air resistance.

Is this a recent observation or has this been always a problem for you both?

For the record, our group is playing World of Darkness, so we're throwing 5 to 10 d10s on every roll. So although the problem is relatively rare, the number of dice being rolled makes it a bit more common.
