Had a GM want to step down and hand me the mantle, but it won't let him leave the game and become a player. Any way around this besides just starting a new game? I don't want to have to abandon all of the maps he's made and the handouts.
The creator of the game can promote you to co-GM and then only ever log in as a player (they can right click on the 'rejoin as player' button and save the link produced to always come straight in as a player). For various data security and intellectual property protection reasons a games ownership cannot be fully transferred to another player.
