Interest Check for A Song of Ice and Fire UTC - 5 hours Any Time (Newbie)

Hey guys im a newbie to table top rpgs although i have friends that do play and have had many discussions about it with them. Im a big fan of a game of thrones as well so i got the rpg book and have been reading over it for the past week and would really like to give it a try so i was looking for a group on here that would be friendly to a fairly nooby person when it comes to tabletops. A lil info on me im 23 and have all the free time in the world at the moment i play video games and love to stream them i also love to read as well as write a little bit. Not sure if im post this right so i hope i dont screw this up ha.
If you're running it i'm down to give it a shot. I've played a little intro one before, and the mechanics seemed pretty cool. What days/time were you looking at?
Well I'm hoping a experienced narrator/gm comes along. As for times I have open availabality so we can talk that over with anyone else that comes along
I've read the core rulebook, also interested in being a player if we can find a Game Master.
Yea we really need a GM
Are we allowed to bump threads? i cant find a link to fourm rules any where
A little bit rare set of rules, no? I have never seen anyone GM or play this. Good luck.

A man would love to play...but I've not got enough experience to GM. If you've still got room I'd love to join however, I'm fairly familiar with the world lore, just not the game mechanics.

Well i mean id GM but ive never ever ever done itb4 ive never even played the game i need a little more time to read if i tried it ill keep looking around and start reading in the book and see if i can manage gming tho tbh i really wanted to play be4 i GMed lol valar morghulis
Hey, I'd gladly join a game, ive read the rule book, but never played it yet. I dont think I would be able to GM, but let me know if you will start the game.
Interested in playing, I've read the rule book a few years back. I may be able to share GM duties at some point but i would like to start out playing.
I would GM a game wednesday or thursday (9 CST) bi-weekly, 4-5 hours with a play by email component (1/day post). It's a narrative heavy game, so it actually works quite well for play by email.
Ok everyone thats interested what do you think about Ari Ks idea? Im ok with it like i said ive never done it be4 and it could be funsies
I'd be interested in joining this group if possible, the way Ari's suggested GMing is how I've seen it done online in the past. Love the system and the books and everything, problem being finding local gamers interested in expanding beyond D&D.
Well it looks like we got what we need and as we play and learn we can expand I'm a streamer as I said so I could stream dome of it
I think Ari K's idea is great, count me in.
Ok well i have Open Avaliablity for both wednesday and thursday so everyone else post when your avaliable please

I'm avaliable on both wednesday and thursday.
Looks like theres 7 of us that want to play and then our gm thats 8 people in all hmmm thats quite abit for a start but i guess thats ok eh
I'm going to start on online survey and send it out this afternoon. It will have time availability and other stuff so I can start to think through the Chronicle. Has anyone done, or read Perils at King's Landing?
Anyone who wants in should respond to this: Questionaire. Don't worry if you don't have much experience in any of these categories. Just be honest. In my experience even if 7-8 people sign up to play only 4-5 actually make it due to life constraints.
Ari, this is a great idea this questionairre thing. I have not seen the show, and did not know the Song of Ice and Fire is part of the Game of thrones deal. I recently bought the boardgame. Though I am not gonna be able to make it into this (I know nothing of the genre, setting, etc) , I used to run and play play by post... it can work out if you get dedicated players. Good luck with it. To all. Some really cool stories can come out of these things.
Filled it out good thinking Ari

Filled the questionaire. haven't read Perils at King's Landing

James, Knowing the setting isn't a "requirement" really. But it may add to the enjoyment of the game. And it helps to have some players who are really new to the setting. It's like taking someone to a great new movie that hasn't seen it yet.
Sorry, I'm playing in a new startup 3.5 Thu, I run AFMBE Friday, Run 2nd Ed D&D saturday. Play Traveller Monday. See the wife Tue, Wed, and some Sundays. Good luck. I like being married, but it's real close.

Responded to the questionnaire; I haven't read/played Peril at King's Landing.
Got 4 so far. Not a ton of experience with ASIFRP (myself included), so if your interested just click and fill out the link above.
I am submitting one if you are still looking.
I submitted a response. I hope you're still looking because it doesn't seem that many are running this system :(
I've got a campaign running every friday at 7pm GMT+1 if this interests anybody. Just send me a message if it does :)
