Hey guys, I am currently working out a campaign centered around a cell of newly recruited members of the elven underground anti-human organisation Eldreth Veluuthra. Their goal is basically to wipe mankind from Faerûn to restore the old elven ways and to end the destruction of nature. Those guys see humans as vermin. They are outlawed in elven society, but quite a few Elves secretly sympathize with them. The campaign would be 50/50 Roleplay and Combat, have a very serious tone (IC jokes are fine but I would like to reduce OOC distractions - including jokes - to a minimum) and you wouldn't play heros but rather elven racial supremacists and/or eco terrorists who try to plot and advance the downfall of humans in the area. It would have a dark and gritty feel when it comes to fighting humans, but among the group or Elves in general it's more about camaraderie. They may be the bad guys, but they don't see it that way. I would require players to apply with an elaborate backstory for their character. You could only play as Sea/Aquatic Elf, Celadrin, Moon Elf, Sun Elf, Wild Elf or Wood Elf. All except High- and Wood-Elf are home brewed, but not overpowered. Would you guys be interested in playing something like this? Edit: I am located in Europe and the Central European Timezone. Right now it's summertime, so it's GMT +2. I have a nine to five, monday - friday job so gaming time would either be in the evenings of weekdays (especially friday) or on saturday or sunday afternoons, local time.
