Roll20 Alternate device use

Working on building a digital game table this weekend and we're currently trying to find a choice for the device we use to run Roll20 on it.  I was initially going to use my Pi(B+ I think?), but when opening Roll20 in chromium, it will get to the entering game screen and just lock up from CPU usage. Is there anyway to get past this, or does anyone have any other recommended devices? Like a Chromebox, chromebit, etc.  The primary use would be for Roll20 only, and would prefer a low profile for factor for easy mounting under the table.

Roll20 isn't supported on other devices, which means if you can get it to work, that's great. However, if you can't, the only assistance you're going to find is "unofficial" and not guaranteed to actually work.

I can use Roll20 on my Chromebook, but it's pretty poor performance and I wouldn't use it for a live game. You might get better results with a higher end machine though. Mine's on the cheap side.

You can always use remote screen software, like a VNC or such, that displays on the Pi from a more powerful computer. But I don't think it's a good long-term solution though. A small computer might make more sense. Or the GM can plug in their laptop and use the table's screen as a secondary monitor.
