[LF2P] D&D 5e Forgotten Realms Setting

Greetings potential adventurers, You and 4 other adventurer's will be starting out in Baldur's Gate where you'll be joining the newest wing of "The Dauntless," a mercenary guild with a fine reputation. The Dauntless are known only to take in the best of the best, and they hold to a code that all members must do their best to adhere to. The jobs will probably be dangerous, you might not make it back with your wing intact after every mission, but "fortune favors the bold"... or so they say. We're looking for 2 people to join in on our D&D adventure. The campaign will be set on The Sword Coast to start out, but no prior knowledge of the lore or world is necessary. Game is every Saturday from 9pm-1am EST (-5 GMT). We're hoping to get our first session in this week on the 5th. All the standard wizards material and most (run it by the DM) UA allowed. We currently have our DM and 3 players, we have all played together at some point and are fairly social players, we're looking for people who love D&D as much as we do and who are reliable. A little bit of info on what we're looking for and character creation. - Not looking for drama queens, rules lawyers or jerks. - Newer players are welcome, but you will be expected to know your class and how to play 5e D&D. - 18+ please. - Be sociable, you don't have to be a super extrovert, but we're looking for players who participate. - We're a RP heavy group, we enjoy getting into our characters. - A few homebrew rules, nothing major. - Characters are starting at level 3. - Unique point-buy system, characters will have better than average stats. (but with that comes harder encounters) - No evil characters, this is a hero-style campaign. (complex characters are welcome, encouraged, but no "screwing over the party" type characters) - A decent headset/mic required along with discord for voice. - Able to show up on time and ready for each session. (real life is a thing, we understand, but only apply if you can commit to being there most sessions) - Current Party make-up Barbarian, Mystic and Bard. If this sounds like you're type of game, leave a reply below or send me a PM with a character idea including: Character Name: Race: Class: Alignment: Backstory:
Are you willing to allow new players? I'm not new to Tabletop. Just 5e. I'd love to join though!
Hello, I go by moon Character Name: Janis Tragan Race: (V) Human Class: Sorcerer(shadow)  Alignment: CG Backstory: Janis started her life as a simple peasant girl, until one night something came out and bound itself to her. Since then her heart has nearly stopped, Her hair whitened and she started to accidentally cast magic. Fearing her, Janis parents along with a few of the village ran her out of town, where she would have died if not for the charity of a passing wizard named Talos. Working and living with him for years, she learned to control her power and got her the attention of the dauntless, where she is now heading.
@TheRavenOfDeath, we are. As the post says newer players are fine, you just need to know your class and have an understanding of the rules.
Might not to be able to join for tomorrow but apart from that I'd be interested. Happy with the majority of classes and races including the UA if you think there is anything missing from the party.
Hi i'm chuckles i'd like to join as Attar Awad Tiefling Druid Neutral good Backstory-Attar lived with his mother and father for the first 15 year of his life until  his demonic blood compelled him to attack his family to protect them he went into a life of seclusion even learned to work druidic magic trying to find enlightenment to control his bloodthirsty thoughts. His control of the Druidic magic got him the attention of the Dauntless. He wants to join them to find a magic item to help him with his anger.
Character Name: Renadak Race: Half-Orc Class: Paladin Alignment: LG Backstory: Abandoned on the streets of a city on a coast, for as long as he can remember, Renadak survived on brute strength, forcing his way in order to survive by stealing whatever food and other necessities he could get in order to survive. After years of living alone on the streets, he was picked up by a clergy elf woman called Trisra who worships the elf goddess of the moon, Sehanine Moonbow. Though reluctant at first, he grew to care for Tisra and the monastery that had taken him in. In time he left the small monastery at the age of 16 and travelled to the closest Cathedral that offered training to all in order to become a Paladin for Sehanine Moonbow, despite not being his racial pantheon, out of thanks for Tisra for taking him off of the streets. By the age of 26 he had finished his Paladin training with Top Marks. Two years later of serving at the Cathedral, the High Priestess Diana, tasked him with heading out in order to find any and all ancient tomes of their goddess, in order to return them back in order to protect and preserve them. He has recently heard of a rumor of one such tome located somewhere within the forgotten realms Still new to roll20 so bare with me if I get accepted

Race: Wood elf Class: Ranger Alignment: Lawful good (might be considered more neutral good, as he has a strong moral code he follows that might not always line up with the law of the land) Backstory: Raised In the woods by his father, he learned the ways of nature. In that he developed a very deep respect for all things nature. At a rather young age he left home as a sense of adventure overtook him, wanting to see all the glory this world had to offer. At first towns were very strange for him. He has a adapted to the setting, but due to being swindling on multiple occasion he is doesn't trust people at first. Yet he still allows people to earn his trust with actions (fighting along side of him is the quickest). After exploring the world, he decided to make this world a better place, and he could think of no better way then to join the The Dauntless, accepting that alone his options would always be limited (I assume this guild has a reputation for only taking good contracts). His specialty is with a bow that always strikes true. Adaptable in combat he is willing to take whatever role he believes will win the fight, even if it means giving up some glory. He primarily brings his experience with nature to the group and range damage Don't really know what monsters are more prevalent in this world, as a the last major detail is how is mother died and decides his first favored enemy. Also I have only played a few session of 5e, have played plenty of pathfinder so i have most things down. Also not that familiar with roll20, can do roles and similar stuff. I doubt I would be accepted today, but if so I can play (just need an hour or two for character)
