LFG Noob Player 5e, needs Guidance

Hi Guys, I'm a completely new player that's itching to dip my toes into DnD 5e, lookin for someone to guide me through developing my own character(probably an assassin/rogue/ranger archetype) and getting some monster scalps under my belt. I typically have time to play after 10pm CDT/ 8pm PDT/ 11pm EDT. Please and thank you!

If you find someone let me know, I am also reletively new and looking for any experience I can get

New player here too, maybe we could get a group going?

I have played a hand full of times at best and if you find someone i wouldn't mind grouping up with you as a PC.

Well I am not 100% sure how to go about doing that either. I have only played 1 game on here and we only got to lv 3 but I was pretty much walked through joining the game and what not maybe shoot a pm to one of the other guys.

First thing is getting a time together, I can handle making the group once we work out a time

Hi - I'm a teacher/DM. I'm not looking for any players at the moment, but I'd be happy to spend an hour or two teaching you how it works and running you through a few 'encounters' to help teach D&D and roll20. - I'm actually free this evening and looking for something to do, so please PM me if you're interested :)

Did you guys ever find a DM for this? are you all scatterred away from each other? 

I know that  Korow found a game, since I gave him a bit of a tutorial/lesson a day or two ago. - I'm not sure if it's with the others though.

Ardaya is running a 5e, I think.  Just checking up to see.  I hate to see people new to roll20 not able to find a group.

I myself struggled to find a group, but I had a very small timing window that I was actually available... - Which is why I just became a GM on day 1. I didn't play as a PC, until 6-9 months later!

:3 thanks for checking on us guys, real kind of you. We(Salty,Jin,Graves and I)) found a DM and played a short game, now we're looking for a few more players to join us on a larger scale campaign. 

Ardaya, Are you DMing, or is your new DM DMing? And, nice to hear what is up. a lot of these kind of threads just die off, leaving the community wondering what happened, how it went. We are lacking DMs on Roll20 big time to match the demand generated by people watching Twitch, and Matt M..

Our new DM is DMing, I'm not quite up to the task just yet but one day I'll join the ranks :P

Hi all. Just reading over the responses in this thread. I am the proud owner of a game room that currently has 4 DM's in it. Each is running their own evening game on different days of the week. Mondays is Lost Mines of Phandelin, Tuesdays is Out of the Abyss, Thursdays is Storm King's Thunder, and Fridays is Tales from the Yawning Portal. We are a core group of DM's(3 males and 1 female), and players (1 male). We are currently looking for more female players possibly 2 that can play in a few of the rooms campaigns.
