Hello! As you might have noticed, this game has a P2P(Pay to play) tag, this means that the game requires payment to participate. "This game will require payment to participate. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. For more information please see the Roll20 Code of Conduct.". Payment is paid through PayPal at a rate is 2.5 $ per hour. The reason for my games being P2P are because i offer quality, effort and experience. On top of what i offer, the P2P tag also attracts a certain kind of people. These people are often keen to play, mature and wish to have good personal connections within the party. These are two main reasons for my games to be pay to play. My name is Tim, i have been a GM for a few years now, having closer to 3000 hours of experience counting both IRL and on roll20. I have loved DnD 5th edition since i saw it, and have run it since my first ever session. I of course have spent time on the other side of the screen too, but prefer to be behind it. I love realistic, gritty and dark campaigns. Homebrew is my homeground, it's something i find essential for the game to run smoothly. Min maxing and metagaming is something i frown upon. I cherish those who build a character for the story, and helps this character develop as the story goes on. I will always help building a character with a thick and well fleshed out background, because that's what DnD characters are about for me. Then why would you pay for my games, and not join some other game that is free ? Here are some short point about what you would get from my games; * An experienced DM who knows how to create an immersive, gritty, realistic and epic adventure * A fleshed out homebrew world, and with your help there will be an even more thicker feeling to the world * A chance to add your own ideas into an already existing world * One or several "quest archs" with your character in the driving seat * Someone who is enthusiastic about DnD to the point of where he will spend loads of time on a campaign to make it as perfect as possible for his players * A co-operative sandbox world with as many choices to it as you can think of, though with enough structure for you to enjoy the quests within, just that you chose what quests you want to take part of * Customized/homebrewed magical items * New gods * Dynamic lightning on all the battle maps * Old school dungeon crawling with puzzles and riddles (and of course monster slaying) * NPC voices, also very real NPC whom have their own goals and drives in this world You will find more information about the game and what you will be offered in the listing, Here Here are also the words of some people i have helped, played with and am still playing with about me as a DM; " I have never seen a dm act with as much for thought and scope of his world as Tim. I am an avid reader of a lot fantasy novels and have grown accustome to seeing plot points when ever I step into to a world. This leads to asking a lot of questions trying to find out more about the world to peel back its layers. Most of the time you get answers that point either to one author or troupe that has been played out before. But in rare cases you find a world that something that you have never seen before. Tim has done that with Gale, and it is so refreashing to find a world that moves around the players rather than moves because of them ." - Caldorein ( <a href="https://app.roll20.net/users/503887/caldorein" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/users/503887/caldorein</a>) (Current player) " Tim does good job at weaving your own backstory into the narrative to make you feal as if you do actually have a place in this world he has built " - Luke ( <a href="https://app.roll20.net/users/1685293/luke-f" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/users/1685293/luke-f</a> ) (Current player) " Coming into the first session I had no experience in D&D, and I was expecting to get an overview of how the roll20 site works and a little gameplay, but thought I would still have a lot to learn about the basics. Coming out of it I can say that I was very wrong. Tim did a very thorough job of covering all the parts of the roll20 site, all aspects of the character stat sheet, a lot of the different parts of combat, and happily answered all of the many questions that I had. If you're a new player and looking to learn from someone online, I would highly suggest Tim. Not only is he a great and patient teacher, but a nice guy too. Thanks a lot, Tim! The fire doesn’t keep you warm anymore. The sounds….oh the crooked sounds you hear when the darkness comes. For close to a month, the suns have turned grey and cold. The crops now starting to fail due to there not being enough nourishment. In the depths of the darkness, eyes watching you, waiting for you to step out of the light so they can feast on your beloved flesh. Adventurers have tried to fight it, the venture out into the darkness. Now they lay in shallow graves. Run, hide, it doesn’t matter. The darkness reaches everywhere. Oh...the crooked sounds you hear from within the darkness. It makes your hairs stand up, your hands shake and your will is broken. Gael has for close to a month been plagued by this unnerving darkness. For a time, nobody thought much of it. But once people started to disappear and show up dead, torn to pieces measurements were taken. Though it didn’t help, and once the first wave was broken panic spread. There has been a call to arms from many of the kingdoms, marshall law has been instated and there are not many left who dare to fight whatever is out there in the darkness. Those who are brave, or perhaps stupid, are branded as maniacs and suicidals. In a large council room around a round table in the capital of Pavia sit 28 people. They are what is left of the resistance. Of those who still believe that they can win this. They have heard that there is still chance to win. An old frail man comes in with a large tome in his hands. As the tome hits the table, dust flies all around. It has been said that the tome contains a prophecy. A prophecy that speaks of the darkness, but also how to get rid of it. We are the resistance, and we will never give up on the people even if they have given up on us. We shall fight this to the bitter end. “Sit down, and listen carefully, for i shall read you this prophecy once, and only once” the old man says before he opens the book. A surge of magical power comes out, the lights flicker and he starts to read..." There are currently 2 pay to play games running, one of these games has ONE OR TWO open spots.
