Interest Probe: D&D 3.5 or Pathfinder, Players, GM on Tuesdays! (-7:00 gmt)

Merry Christmas and happy New Year if such is relevant! I'm testing the waters to see if there's any sort of interest in an ongoing campaign that would be played on Tuesday afternoon/evenings. Why Tuesdays? Strangely enough, I'm unsure how it has happened but Tuesdays after 3:00 pm (-7:00 gmt) I almost always have completely booked off to do absolutely nothing. So, I'm looking for two to three people that would like to join me in this adventure, and another willing to dm for it. I'm a big fan of goal oriented adventure paths as well as wide open sandbox worlds without an actual goal. Which is ironic I suppose. I've been playing D&D for about ten years now and I'm plenty experienced in it. I ran the entirety of the Savage Tide adventure path, played through the War of the Burning Skies, did my very best to get through Council of Thieves and was utterly murdered by the first adventure of the Age of Worms. I'm a big fan of the optional gestalt rules from 3.5 (but only if in a small enough group so the characters can't completely overpower prewritten material. I think I'm probably most interested in playing through the entirety of Mongoose Publishings "The Drow War" probably the longest pregenerated campaign I've ever seen. It's 3.5 material and is supposed to actually go from level 1 to level 30. Which is both daunting and awesome at the same time. But I know very few people who are willing to touch epic material with a ten foot pole, let alone have the ability to commit to such a lengthy undertaking. I dare to dream though.
I would love to join you in this adventure. 3.5 is my personal favorite system, but I can work with Pathfinder and the such as well. I am EST here but I am free all day on Tuesdays and have no plans the next day. I will follow this topic and hope it develops more. As a side note, I too love Gestalting.
It starts with one!
Tuesdays are a good night for me, and I have hundreds of hours of pathfinder experience. I am familiar with the gestalt rules and have been eagerly looking for a chance to use them. I've never played an epic level campaign as it's not really a thing in pathfinder. Have you read anything about the Mythic characters in pathfinder? I'm in CST and available at your listed time, though I'd prefer not to go too late into the night as I work early Mon.-Fri.
Nice. welcome to the ranks of those who DM here.
Until someone actually steps up to run a game than I don't think its really up to me to say who does what or what rules are going to end up being used. I'm not really a fan of epic spells because they're really, really abusable. I'm aware of mythic, and the Wrath of the Righteous adventure path that goes along with it. I have done enough gaming to know that most epic progression translates easily enough into Pathfinder and the Pathfinder SRD does mention it (albeit indirectly) Both systems offer things I like, I think 3.5 is very customizable, and Pathfinder is very elegant at what it does. James J. Was my subject line unclear? Because I wasn't offering to dm this?
Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you were offering to DM, too.
If I could edit the title line I'd write in "Looking for players and GM" And to answer a previous question. I have a microphone and a webcam, and can use either but I'll leave it up to the great gm from the sky to decide what they'd prefer.
Well, if the game ends up being 3.5e, I would love to join you fellas. :)
Sorry, I thought you wanted to DM. In any case welcome and good luck.
