We currently have four awesome dudes and one awesome lady, and we would like to welcome another powerful lady stortyteller to carve a space for herself in the world of the narrative and join a band of wonderfully weird and talented roleplayers. I am running a story/roleplay-heavy campaign with a complex, full world that challenges the player characters’ emotional and ethical cores as well as their strength in battle along their journeys--as a party and individually. OUR CURRENT CAST: Level 6 Calcifer Renshaw | Human | Male | Cleric - Life Domain: the Raven Queen Born and raised during the horror of the Silent War, Calcifer walks in the shadow of the Raven Queen, possessed of a healer’s hand and the mind of a tinkerer. His iron resolve, selfless nature and dry wit won him both friends and terrible enemies during his youth. A terrible tragedy befell him and he was forced to leave the cold forest towns he called home--to chase the foul creature responsible. Kael'ra Sunfury / Dragonborn / Female / Monk-Way of the Four Elements Born of a scandal within the Dragonborn Imperial Family, Kael'ra is set apart by her half-chromatic, half-metallic nature. Gentle, inquisitive and indomitable, she trained as a monk and ambassador before her exile. Now, she quests for identity, and the father that doomed her to her pariah status. Theo Fathomfell | Elf | Male | Druid - Circle A young druid from the broken Tethys Coast, Theo has found himself in water colder and deeper than he ever imagined--hundreds of miles from home and way over his head. Audacious, funny and charming, despite his new environment, he is ever adaptable, and finding his feet with new friends...while running from the shadow he was forced to flee. This campaign meets once a week on Sundays at 6:00 PST/8:00 CST/9:00 PM EST. We play through Roll20.net. Consistent attendance is critical to this narrative experience (although absences due to illness, sudden emergency or planned vacation are acceptable). This time is unfortunately a non-negotiable as we currently balance timezones from across the globe with players ranging from Seattle, Washington to Boston, Massachusetts. We seek adventurers with strong roleplay skills and the ability to commit--and I in turn am committed to give you the best of myself to provide an engaging, unique experience for you and your character. It is my hope that you discuss what you’d like to do in-story, what you want to achieve and what you are interested in with both me the DM and your fellow players out of character during the week! It really helps take the collaborative and story element up a notch without taking away from the extemporaneous experience. I will not import pre-existing D&D characters into this campaign wholesale. A character’s context is extremely important. Bring to me an idea or a concept to flesh out with you so we can build a strong character together--or build something from scratch with me! Colorful swearing is allowed. Racist, sexist and homophobic behavior, however, is not tolerated under any circumstances and will result in expulsion. In-character: Explicit love scenes are always fade to black in-game for the comfort of all players and the DM who has to narrate. If you have a question of what is and is not appropriate, always ask the DM before you do it in game.
