A place to list your working Macros and what they do

I'm honestly surprised nobody has done this so far. Just making a thread where everyone can copy/paste the working macros they have, i.e. Fireball. Please make sure you inform us what the macro is for & any extra information related to it.
It was done in the earlier iteration of the forum: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1747672/slug%7D" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/1747672/slug%7D</a> <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2066624/slug%7D" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2066624/slug%7D</a> <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2159164/slug%7D" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2159164/slug%7D</a> <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2269848/slug%7D" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2269848/slug%7D</a>
In reading through those, they're dedicated to 5e, so not the same. Thanks tho

I'm not sure it would be that useful to have a single forum post with all different game's macros mixed together. &nbsp;I'd suggest creating a wiki entry for specific games, or at least specifying a game you're interested in collecting macros for in your forum post.
We have the Useful Macros Wiki page, maybe that's a place to start?

I have a 4mb file of macros, but they only apply to one sheet for AD&D 2E games only. That's the other thing, a lot of macros are sheet specific too, so, having a macro that works on the 5e Community sheet may not work at all on the 5e Shaped or 5e OGL as an example. There are macro posts up here and there for individual games and sheets, but they don't get a lot of surface light since most of them are well over a week old and no longer appear in the recent list even if commented on.
<a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3310815/5e-ogl-xp-calc-macro/?pageforid=3310815#post-3310815" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3310815/5e-ogl-xp-calc-macro/?pageforid=3310815#post-3310815</a> is my XP calculation macro for 5e using the OGL sheet. Most of my macros reference a central sheet or certain handouts and aren't easily transferable but that above thread gives specific instructions on how to set it up using a macro character sheet.

I'd love to see a list of some Macros from the community! The Wiki has some useful information about them, and a few basic Macros, but there's so much missing from it. A simple command list would be a huge step for the Wiki. I personally would love to know more myself about them. I've learned how to create my own tables using the default template, that's pretty nice. However, I'd love to know what commands make other skins for the table in chat outside of Default, like a Shaped Sheet template. Just a comprehensible list of commands would make the world go round!
I have my own macro collection here . For anyone interested: to learn more about macros in general, I recommend reading through some of the pages listed on the Roll20 Wiki's Main Page , including: Macros & Text Chat Sheet Roll Buttons & Command Buttons Dice Reference & Rollable Tables Journal Attributes Abilities Roll Templates Tokens & Token Actions (The 5e Shaped sheet's macro documentation can be found here .)

Well I do use a lot of ACBs in my products, and it seems I will likely keep using them as they are the best way to deliver quasi API use to non-Paid subscriptions i am also building my own database slowly of 3.5E Diana P compatible Spell Macros.

I have an extensive list of power card macros for 3.5e (~4000 of them in fact at present, including 3500+ spells ready to go) but due to the fact that a lot of them are not OGL/SRD I can't share them for general use... the thing with macros as well is that most GM's will have their own flavour in them too. For example mine rely heavily on the API and utilise Powercards, Roll20AM, King's Summon Script, TokenMod, Ammo, ImageFlip (i think that is its name?) and the built in fx engine to streamline everything and therefore wouldn't be particularly useful for non-pro subscribers. I think there is likely some merit to the system specific wiki pages being kept up to date with key examples of what can be done with the sheet with regards to macros but as this is community driven it would rely on people taking the time to do so (i'm just as guilty as the 3.5e info I put in there when i was starting out is quite dated lol). What I found helpful was to create an excel/google sheets macro generator as they rely on certain formatting etc. For example I have an attack generator that nests the various attack options needed for a sheet&nbsp;and by changing just a few customisable options I can quickly create an attack for a monster that has BAB1 - 3, for a ranged weapon utilising a range of ammo (i have a custom 3.5e sheet too fyi) which will automatically decrease as used. I can add poison, whether or not there is a need to grapple/grab, power attack and more. All of this takes me less than a minute once i got over the hump of the initial setup:

My plan at the moment is to build a cross-linked OneNote File. Basically an alphabetical list in one Section with one spell macro per page, and then the Spell Lists on their own sections in front.

I did something similar with my spells, I took several csv files from pcgen and concatenated them onto one google sheet, used some wizardry to tidy the data up and replaced calculations with inline rolls. Then I pull that information into an alphabetical list and added some customising options (similar to my attack one above) and a formula to pull it all together into a powercard. All in all it took about a day but once complete meant I had a working macro for every spell bar some potential customisation needed for the more... finicky... spells. I can now use that source sheet to pull through to other sheets based on class and level to quickly populate spell books for my players that incorporate everything from all the core/splat books etc without having to raid my book shelf everytime :)

That is then bubbled away in a broth of crickets mixed with sage... *fades off sounding like a hedge witch*
