Ability to import character directly from Vault

Hi gang, Is there a way to import a character directly from the Vault? I know I can export  a character from the Vault to a campaign, but I've had a few occasions where I'll suddenly realize it would be useful to introduce a certain NPC or custom monster to the PCs who isn't already in the campaign. When that happens, I need to log out, go to the Vault, make sure the NPC or monster is first imported from the correct campaign, then export to the second campaign. If there was an ability to import from the Vault directly from within a campaign, I expect this would be less of an interruption if I was mid-session. Thanks in advance if anyone has ideas.

You can simply open a new window or tab to do the import/export. There's no need to exit the VTT entirely.

That being said, a way to automate this through the API could make campaigns much smaller.

No, that requires the Transmogrifier, a Pro Subscriber Perk.

It's open to subscribers, and to everyone for campaigns using certain Marketplace modules. Pro subscribers also have access to the Transmogrifier, which can transfer assets (including maps) between campaigns. Ryan, the Transmogrifier tool is accessed from within the VTT (on the settings tab), and is capable of transferring characters. Would that accomplish what you want?

@Brian, I've only got the Plus tier, but it sounds like the Transmogrifier might be a useful tool. In the meantime, I guess I'll see if opening another tab and hustling through my importing/exporting works without unduly disrupting the flow of the game. Thanks everyone for the feedback.
