Dungeons And Dragons 5 Edition Game On Saturday 2017-08-26 07:30PM

If you are a new player, veteran of D&D, or something else, you are welcome to join this game if you'd like. This game takes inspiration from an old campaign called Curse Of The Reptile God. But I've never actually played that campaign, so it's mostly just the general concepts, not the specifics.   The game will be on Saturday 2017-08-26 07:30PM CDT, and it'll be around two hours and thirty minutes, with a break in the middle. We'll use a Discord chat group I just made. If you do not show up for the first session you will be kicked from the game. Sessions will be biweekly, and if you don't show up after session one, I will play your character. Basically just doing what the other players tell me to, and keeping them alive.  If this sounds interesting, please fill out the form below. I'm thinking about around four players, and if you seem like a good fit for the campaign, I'll PM you a link to the Roll20 campaign and Discord Group. The Form:  What is your level of experience with D&D?  What type of character would you like to play? Race, Class, Personality. Please have your character be a Class and Race from the Player's Handbook, Volo's Guide To Monsters, Or Unearthed Arcana, starting at Level 1. Please PM a rough-outline of your character's backstory if I choose you. Or I could help you make a backstory, if you need it. It'd be preferable if character's could have their backstories surround the Island Nation of Isola, a farming town called Orlane, and The Village Manticore (both in Isola). The reason I do this is to tell/help you know what your character knows about the world around them. All characters at the start of the game will be in the Manticore Tavern (in Village Manticore, of course), not knowing the other players.   What's a cool random fact about you that few know?  Do you have any more questions about the game?
Hey thanks for the message about your campaign. This looks like it could be some good fun. So my experience with the D&D is pretty good. But like a lot of people I find new things out every time I play. I was thinking for a race I would go a Lizardfolk and the class will be either sorcerer or warlock. I usually play something more front line so this would be a nice change of pace, but I'm always open to changing class to fit the group. A cool random fact? Not really sure.
I'll be making two applications on behalf of myself and a friend. Ryan (Me): Experienced enough to not be a pain in the ass. I was thinking of playing like a dwarven monk who waivers heavily on his faith but still trusts in it deep down. Um, I guess not a lot of people know that I really enjoy jazz. Kei (name "kei j." on roll20): (Same experience) She wants to play a halfling rogue who's personable but notably greedy and money centric due to her past Not something I can really say for her We look forward to a response!
I conduct experiments when cooking so my food always comes out different and sometimes strange. Hi🙋🏿
What is your level of experience with D&D: I have played AD&D once and 4e once YEARS ago. I just picked up the 5e player's handbook and have been playing around with rolling up characters, although I often am doubting my skill in doing so, meaning I may have a few questions.  What type of character would you like to play: I like the main classes of human, dwarf or halfling. There are specifications of each class that interest me so I'd be willing to create any class the group needs.  I know I'm not really making my case, but I want to be as transparent as I possibly can. I will be learning as I go. I am not new to tabletop, but the only game I really played in an ongoing campaign is Palladium's Beyond the Supernatural. I am in the Central time zone. A random fact about me: My main hobby is crafting. I do a little bit of everything, but my main go to is knitting.
