[LFP] [Forsaken 2e] Manitou Springs - Beginner friendly chronicle

Day of the week: Saturday Time: 7:00 pm Eastern Session length: 3 hours approximately Voice: Discord Video: none Pack requirement: one werewolf of each auspice, one werewolf of each tribe Pack size: 5/5 --- We are full! D&D everywhere! While we all love D&D I feel the community could use more people playing World/Chronicle of Darkness. So, I decided to be a storyteller for once and introduce people to WoD/CoD and all the rage of Werewolf. Manitou Springs is like Lost Mine of Phandelver for Werewolf. So it's a great opportunity to get your teeth and claws wet with some blood. There are no plans to turn this into a long term chronicle. I want to make that clear. I don't have that kind of time on my hands. No prior knowledge to the rules is required but a strong drive to learn is appreciated. I will provide a short summary of the rules and I am totally willing to help during character creation or I can create a pregen for you if you want. Bonus points if you are a violent female nerd and you are willing to let all that anger out by roleplaying a rage-driven killing machine! Jokes aside, some estrogen in the pack is always nice. If you are interested, great! Reply to this topic or pm me with your timezone, which auspice(s)/tribe(s) you would be happy to play as and any other information you deem appropriate.
I'm a violent rage-filled female nerd who'd definitely be intersted in a short-term run. I have a very little experience with  WoD/CoD (very little) and none with Werewolf. I'd love to give it a whirl.

Hmm. I'm quite new (Hours) to this platform.I haven't touched a table top game in years, either so my experience is basically 0. However I have nearly 15 years of experience roleplaying across various platforms. Text based MUDs, play-by-post, graphical games. I'd love to get my feet wet in something like this though, something new.  Edit: Timezone - EST Auspices/tribes: Definitely Irraka/Storm Lords, or Rahu/Blood Talons
Howdey Dan I'm Trent. I heard you're looking for some wolfies. I haven't played much werewolf but I am familiar with the COD rule set. I've played and ran Requiem. Been in table top going on for the past five years or so. I am flexible and can play what you need. Central Time Zone Auspices Any Tribes Any ~Trent
Played Forsaken once. The game lasted for a few sessions. Was a historical viking era game where we stormed in island. Really enjoyed seeing a well planed hunt come together.  Timezone, CST Auspice Irraka, I like playing sneaky characters Elodoth, I've tried on this auspice once, didn't do too badly with it Cahalith, I also like playing around with dream and long winded rants/rallies/stories Tribes Hunters in Darkness, Just like being chillax compared to other tribes Iron Masters, urban spirits are just really cool to work with.

@Songsmith, @Gopher: discord server invites sent @Trent: It's great to find another CoD player! However, I'm going with a first-come, first-serve here this time. Specially since it's a beginner-friendly, short-term chronicle and we have several new players to the system. I will probably run this again in the future so I'll definitely stay in touch. If you want to join the server anyway, let me know. Us WoD/CoD players gotta stay together! Edit: @Poe: What goes for Trent, goes for you!
Coolio coolio, I understand. Doing the work to bring CoD to more players is always a good cause. You can go ahead and throw me a link, if you don't mind a lurker.
You are doing God Machine's work Dan. Speed of light = frequency * wavelength
Re-opening this since some players are turning out to be no-shows. Trent and Poe, both of you might get a spot! Feel free to apply, folks.
Re: spot, neato
I'd love to join a WOD campaign.  I have lots of experience with D&D but would like to give something else a try.  I'm on the East Coast so Saturday evenings work great for me. I'm flexible on any auspices that are needed in the pack but if it's open I would play Rahu.
Hey guys lets be werewolves. It'll be great. Whats the worst that can happen? Gets torn to pieces. AGGGHH oh god the pain. Yeah Dan keeps us posted.
