G'day! Bear with me, as this may be an annoying posting. Just being thorough. I'm looking to play one or both of these games in the title, as I can't find a Real Life group in my area. Friday and Sunday are good all day after 1000 Pacific Standard Time, and Monday to Thursday are good from 1000 until 1900 PST. Can't do Saturday as I have RL D&D then. Anyways... I've only played the Star Wars games once before, but I have all the books on-hand. Just got my copy of the new Star Trek rpg book as well, but haven't played it. (I do watch it on Shield of Tomorrow, so I'm getting an idea on how it's played.) About me: I'm an older (really?) gamer as per my bio. Living on the west coast of the US, and no, I don't use discord. Kind of redundant, given there's a good enough voice system right? And google hangouts has a decent place for star wars dice/voice chat, or so I hear. I might install discord, if roll20 voice doesn't work at all, but I'd rather install TeamSpeak first, as I may use that for an online game. Realise there's no absolute right or wrong way to really play games, based on your groups, but here's my styIe: I like groups that are around Four or Five players plus a GM at most; Keeps things flowing. Not into meta-gamers, murder hobos, rules lawyers and min-maxers, as I try to roleplay, even if we're all not the best at it. New players and GMs to RPGS or just these games in general are no problem to me. (I'm new to these ones after all.) I suck at puzzles, so when it comes to figuring them out, I tend to hang back and just support. Kind of more of an escapist, looking to watch a character grow and progress...maybe fail sometimes if it's appropriate. Not a competitive person at all, so I'm not in some race to dominate or break your game. I don't treat NPCs as fodder that has no meaning. Interact with the world, don't just use/abuse eh. I'd go on, but that's enough for now. Not trying to bore you. Still reading? Wow, thank you. If you're just keen to talk and find out more, message me or what-not. If not, still wish you all happy gaming. And may you find a good game of your own. Cheers.
