So let me start by saying this place looks amazing and and my hat's of to the Roll20 creators and all those that populated this online tabletop with their own worlds and ideas. And also please forgive my grammar or any other writing mistakes that any who read this might encounter, as english is not my first or even second language (insert face of akwardness here). It actualy took some effort on my part to write this. So the purpose of this post is more or less a cry for help, for someone to point me to a starting position. My goal is to first learn how to be a player through this program before i even consider becoming a Gm. So far i found the information and eplanations given here prety overwhelming for my self, all these numbers, mechanics and terminologies kinda got me scared to just hop in game and figure it out as it goes because i will probably be ruining the game for the other players and Gm. I do have some experience a few years back when i played a campaign of DnD with some friends in the "oldschool way" of pen and paper and i loved it, circumstances like work mostly, drove me away from it or made it very difficult to bring together a group of people. Well this is it, this is the question, where do i start as a player and where can i find a game to lets say "get my feet wet" with this program? All tips would greatly appreciated.
