Fairy Tales by Fairystail Interest Check

So anyone who knows me knows I have a love of Fairy Tales and the more warped the better. So I have a game idea, using Cypher System. Where basically the players are normal everydday people who get dragged into the world of Fairy Tales for reasons. However while you may start off as normal people you will be affected by the magical nature of the realms and thus be capable of magic if you want (thus allowing magical based characters. Well here's a lil intro  for you guys to get a feel for it. The Giant's Beanstalk fell, Cinderella married her prince, Aurora woke up, Beast lost his fur, Red Riding Hood survived the wolf, but all is not well in the Land of Wonders (A.K.A Wonderland) The land needs a specific type of person, one prophecized from ancient times to do...something, the old hags have forgotten, the text is faded, no one is entirely sure. Only two things are known, they must be from outside the Land and what ever they do it will be big. Over time this person has been known as an Alice. There have been many would-be-Alice's. Red was one such, she did a lot, survived the most vicious killer around, became queen of her own kingdom but unfortunately that is normal these days. So clearly she is not Alice. Jack was also one such would-be-Alice. Tricked a giant, stole a golden goose, a magical harp and caused the deaths of countless people under the beanstalk. This is also not very special anymore. He too is not an Alice. Countless Tales (Inhabitants of the Land) have searched fr an Alice, hoping they can mold the person how they see fit, use them how they wish for their own gains. Unfortunately a group of Would-Be-Alices are going to be dragged into the Land soon. So is anyone interested? Im thinking of running the game saturday or sundays at 12pm gmt+12 for four or so hours weekly
This seems really interesting. How friendly is it to newbies? I've never played the system before, but I'd love to try it. I am also a decently fast learner.
I would be interested if you end up running on Sunday, dont think ive played the system before myself but concept seems interesting.
The system is pretty simple, its the same system as Numenera or The Strange if you've played either of those. Some of the things do get  a lil abstract but it is a simple system in the vein of the rules should not get in the way of a good story. I haven't actually played it before myself but im pretty confident in my ability to run it.
Sounds good. So if you don't mind me joining, should I make a character now? Or wait until the first session?
I have no idea if it's even going to happen but if you want to make a character knock yourself out

Okay so you are a clever explorer who works the back alleys?
Explorer is just the place he fits. He is more a thief who is using his skills while in reform to try and help anybody weaker than him. Orphans, junkies, homeless, you name it. There is a lot of crime where he comes from. Some organized, which is why he has to hide his face.
Would also be interested if you decide to play on a Saturday, though I have never played any of the systems you have mentioned. Always loved Fairy tales :D
