How to track time passing in game?

Hope it's okay to as this here. One of my players has the ability to transform into a bear for an hour (Wild Shape) but I'm not sure how to fairly measure the time? Should this be real life 1-hour or something else? What do other DM's do usually? Secondly, is there some sort of script to measure time in game if it's not real life time passing? Thanks a bunch :)
You can use the turn tracer to do this. Add a custom element in and have it so every time it passes it adds x amount of time. I use this to track years in a Deity game we have, where each round is 500 years. If you need help I can show you how to do this some time.
Check out the angry gm's article on time dice as a great solution to this. Can't link as I'm on mobile, but a quick Google search should find it

Check out these time tracker pie-chart icons in the Roll20 Marketplace. These can be used with Rollable Tables (Free users), or with an API Script to automate it (for Subscribers with API access). Sold as an Add-ON for your game with the Rollable Tables already set up, <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/7/" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/7/</a>... If you need individual art pieces, this version: <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1618/a-t" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/1618/a-t</a>... It's a way to indicate chunks of time to your Players, visually.
Thanks these are all good suggestions. I love those tokens and I'm going to try them out in my next game! thanks all! :)

Excellent question, I'm stumped. I thought I recalled there was one. Would you like to start a thread in the API forum to ask this and get answers from the community?
