CLOSED: LFG: Dresden Files Accelerated (Mini or Long Campaign. Saturday or Sunday, PST/PDT, Discord)

Hello! I am looking for a group to play Dresden Files Accelerated with. More specifically, I am looking for someone to GM. I would really like to get to know the game as a player before I myself start GMing it, and I can count on one hand how many times I've actually been a player in an TTRPG. Please let me know if you're interested in running a DFA game, and you can do it on weekends.
I can't GM worth a damn, but if you end up finding someone, I would happily be a character. I have recently got into Dresden Files through the TV show. I am going to start reading the books soon as well. I am available Sundays at any time as well. I am Atlantic Canada time -4GMT. I am 4 hours ahead of you, so your Noon is my 4PM

I wouldn't be able to GM, but I would be interested in a weekend DFA game. I am in CST so I would be just an hour off.
I'm already GMing a Dresden game, but I would love to play in one as a player and not GM another. I can't play Sunday, but I can play on Saturday. Let me know. :)
Another player here!
It seems like we have enough players to actually play a game, and we're all more or less familiar with the Dresden universe. The only issue is that none of us wants the full responsibility of being GM. What if we took turns being weekly GM? If an conflict about how an action would resolve comes up, the party will talk it out with the GM having last vote. The character of that week's GM would either be doing an action out of scene, or be acting as an NPC.  For example: My character is a Hunter who, among other things, makes his own specialuzed ammo. So if I was GMing one week, then I could say he was restoring his ammo stores. Let me know what y'all think! If y'all are interested, then I'm willing to GM the first week.
That could be really interesting Titus. I've actually been working on a campaign to run, in case no one wanted to GM. You all should check it out under Games>Join a Game. It's just titled Dresden Files Accelerated for now.

Hello Everyone, There's not much info on people's experience round robin GMing but there was a  interesting thread on Giant in the Playground forums about it. As a recommendation, aim for a short 3-5 session mini-campaign. I've run several Fate games in this manner and it keeps things both focused and not overwhelming. Treat it like a TV show multi-part pilot, with options for the audience (i.e. you all) to make changes and groove together. Then, if you want to continue, you can do another short mini-campaign (Season 1) and so on. Another recommendation is to spend time creating characters together, at a minimum in your game page forum, if not for the first session. Fate is great for brainstorming possible characters to play, which players can pick and choose, mix and match ideas that you all come up with. If you create enough options, the remaining ideas are easy fodder for the GMs to use as NPCs. /Matt
The DFRPG game I run has been running for a few months (on Tuesday nights), so I really am totally not that interested in GMing another game. (I haven't tried Accelerated at all yet, and I'm not the best GM, which is why I'd love to play on the other side some. :) ) That said, there are a couple of short game modules out there, at list for the original RPG but I'm sure they would be easy enough to convert, that would be easy to run quickly.
Also my experience with FATE has been that it's very low maintenance for the GM, much more on the fly, and that it really is more player driven than another system, such as D&D.
I am totally new to FATE so I may not be the best GM but I am not new to gaming I am more intrested in Accelerated than the first edition as it was a bit overwhelming even from a player standpoint.

I would love to be in another DF game, but I am no GM. Additionally I've never done Fate Accelerated, but I have an idea of it after listening to the Not Another Tavern podcast. Depending on the hour I'm down. I'm on EST.
