About Me Anyway, random encounter, Imma live streamer on Twitch. I wanted to play some tabletops on my livestream because it reminded me of when I played tabletops. Back before costly videogames ran my life and costly books did it instead. I'm 22, Male, I've been roleplaying since I was like 15, but I was interested in it at 12. I have alot of experience Running games but not actually playing them, although from what my more experienced friends say I'm pretty damn good. Very natural actor, not that fakey pompous high on my skills actor. Sadly, I live in a small town now and I am unable to find any "Classic Gamers" who are good fun people to play with, or haven't converted to controllers and consoles. So I can't do live in person games on my stream. System Information (More In-depth) I am interested in a group who plays Dungeons and Dragons, preferably 3.5, 4, Next. I could play AD&D, but its been too long. Pathfinder would be fantastic, its simpler to get into, and I can explain it to my viewers without freaking em out. Shadowrun would be awesome as well, because its the cyber age. We have evolved past playing with paper and pens! (Sort of :D) Now we use computers and cameras, and auto rollers. Only fitting that we play a cyber age game. I'm not picky about the edition of Shadowrun, preferably newer versions, 5, 6, and anniversary edition. I figure Shadowrun might be more relate-able because of comps and stuff, I wouldn't have to explain as much. Other than that, I really like Cthulhu, much story, so approve :D I'm also I'm big on the mythos. I may play other stuff, suggestions might be nice. Times Anyday of the week, from 11AM to 6PM -6GMT. Thats my daily livestream https://twitch.tv/raunchyram . Shameless plug I know. 6PM is my end time, but I can stream past that, especially if everyone is into and having fun. Forgot to mention the game needs to be weekly. Kind of Group I'm Looking For I need, yes need, a group that is vocal, and uses webcams. I don't want to play a game all in text, I want something reminiscent of the real table gathering. I'm not a shy person, I always have my cam on. Most importantly though, I need a group that is ok with them being on Twitch live and/or being recorded. I don't have many viewers, about 10 frequent/daily viewers with a upward flux to about 25. I'm very experienced with rules, a GM wouldn't need to teach me how to play. Also I want a group that is open to roleplaying in character, and has like a "Safety Symbol or Safety Word" to represent in or out of character. Ex: Crossing fingers on cam to show they are in character, or saying "Character Name:". Like "Lord Cuddles, I removed the kings head and put it in this sack, proof of my job done. Now about my payment...". This is completely optional though. Character Preferences I love playing support, even when I play video games I play support. So for DnD, Cleric, Non Bland Paladin, Warlord (DnD 4) ask me to play a bard and I'll ask you to leave XD Shadowrun, Phys Adept. Pathfinder, synonmous to the DnD ones. Cthulhu? Doctor, or investigator, maybe a Author. Thats it, I will post more/update it when I think of more. Sorry if this post came off as demanding.
I knew there was a lack of GMs here, but I didn't think it would be that hard for me to find a game. Maybe asking people to be on cam or mic might be too large a request? Or maybe no one wants to be recorded while roleplaying, come on the best way to get new GMs and players is to show people the game in progress.
Lack of GM's is indeed the biggest problem in Roll20, but the problem in your request is maybe the need of webcams? Not really sure, but that is my opinion, because people may not even have one or don't want to use it. Well i'm the former so i cant really help you, but good luck
Well you dont need a cam, but a mic at the least. No one on twitch is going to read that much text, they come to be entertained with as little reading as possible. I don't have much time to do anything outside of streaming otherwise I wouldn't consider text a problem, thus why I would like to do it during my stream.
We were thinking about running a pathfinder game for a friend. If you want more ubfomation please pm and ill go into details.
