I was hoping to assemble something like an online version of a regular gaming group, and share gamemastering duty among those people who are willing. I've managed to get several people gaming already, but I'm looking for more. We have a Facebook page that's used for scheduling, file-sharing and communications. The games are on Roll20, using native audio/video. They run a couple of times a month, so far about every other Saturday beginning at 4pm Pacific. But Saturday or Sunday, afternoons or evenings, are possible. I'm picky about what I want to play, but wherever we have a common interest, I hope we can get something started. For my gamemastering contribution, members are welcome in my ongoing 1st ed AD&D game set in Tekumel, now in its fourth year (currently runs once/month on a Sunday, from 11am-2pm Pacific Time). Here again is the list I’ve been posting, of what I’d be interested in playing, in no particular order. You don't have to play every game on the list, but you should be interested in a few: - 2nd ed Chaosium Runequest ("Classic") in Glorantha - Rogue Trader 1st ed FFG (I also have a conversion of this to run with BRP, if anyone's interested) - Warhammer Fantasy Role Playing 1st/2nd ed - Call of Cthulhu: By Gaslight, 1920's, WW1, WW2, or Cold War ("Berlin 61"), but NOT 7th edition - 1st ed AD&D (in Judges Guild's Wilderlands/City States, Mystara, Midkemia, Blackmoor, Lankhmar, Oriental Adventures, Spelljammer, Dragonlance, Middle Earth or Thieves World) - Classic Traveller (Somewhere in the canon Third Imperium. Please no assassinating my Emperor or releasing a computer virus that brings down civilization! I'd also be interested in either EC Tubb's Dumarest setting, for which I have a nice summary document, or Andre Norton's Free Traders / Scouts / Rangers universe, for which I have someone’s rpg write-up.) - Gamma World 1st or 2nd ed / Metamorphosis Alpha 1st ed - Fading Suns 2nd ed - Old editions of Stormbringer (or Hawkmoon, or Corum) - FASA Star Trek 1st/2nd We're currently playing FASA Star Trek, next game scheduled for Sept 2nd. The next Tekumel game is Oct 1st. After we conclude the current Trek adventure, we have a Call of Cthulhu game planned. After that adventure is concluded, I will be running a Classic Traveller adventure. And if you're interested in running one of the above listed games/editions, I'd love to hear from you!
