Resetting player video/avatars in a game where you are not a GM?

So in my own game (where I am GM), I moved one of my player's names on my screen by mistake, at the time I just moved it roughly back in place to save time. I've come to find now everyone's name in another game is jumbled up in another game I've just joined, I've found the reset button under the cog but it's greyed out, and I can't figure out why. I'm not a GM in this game... is that the problem?
