Turn Order Display not consistant

Yesterday, during a campaign, we were having trouble seeing the turn order for some of the tokens. The GM could see them, but most of the players could not. I was able to see them properly on the first encounter but not on any further encounters. I don't have screenshots, but it would put up anywhere between 2 and 5 tokens up. Also, only my token had a name displayed in the turn order tool. This made it difficult to see which token it was. I reloaded the browser several times, but it did not help. I did not reset cookies. My GM _might_ have had multiple tokens unnamed or named the same thing (goblin, goblin, etc.). We noticed that when the GM reduced the hit-points (green bubble) of one of the tokens the others were affected as well. This may be a separate issue, or it may have caused the turn order issue. I thought I would mention this to help reproduction. We had 5 players and anywhere between 2 and 5 NPC's in the turn order when this was happening. I will try to get the GM to give feedback if there is anything I did not state accurately. Regarding the tokens, this is a VERY common issue. The solution is here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Linking_Tokens_to_Journals I don't know, off hand, whether or not this will solve the Turn Order problem but I suspect it might; if all the tokens are the 'same' it would make sense that only one shows up. If a token is on the GM Layer, only the GM will see it in the Turn Order list, but that doesn't sound like the problem in this case. The token has to have a name, to have a name in the Turn Order list, so that may be part of that problem. If these don't solve the problem, have the GM post and someone more knowledgeable than I can probably help.
Each "token" on the board is a unique object. The turn order is based around tokens, not Characters, so in regards to the turn order the character/token linking is irrelevant (although as Phnord pointed out it would affect the linked attributes issue). What *probably* happened is this: players can only see the turns for tokens on the page they are on, while the GM can see tokens for all pages. So have your GM clear the turn list (click the "Gear" icon and click "Clear List") when you switch pages, then re-add the tokens for the new page, even if they're the same "type".
