Ideals: Chains are meant to be broken, as are those who would forge them. Bonds: I’m trying to pay off an old debt I owe to a generous benefactor. Flaws: An innocent person is in prison for a crime that I committed. I’m okay with that. Backstory: I'm a half-elf, named Metus, born into poverty and low privilege. People who know me say I possess a flair for escaping death due to sheer determination and willpower. Though, I would contribute my existence to mere coincidence. By all rights, my fate should be sealed, but the gods must have greater visions for what is to come for me. Through my previous line of work as a criminal, I snaked my way into small circles of degenerates. Time would pass and I would then become an initiate of the Thieves Guild, often assigned to the role as hired killer. Although I pride my work, it's a means to pay off the gambling debts I've incurred. The hardships I faced forged a guarded, brooding exterior, and fostered a festering bloodlust. However dark my desires become, I'll try to retain my empathy and compassion. I've set out on my mission to find people I can call friends and protect them from this cruel world.
