I don't expect a perfect game, but I will largely stick to this criteria. Link me your game and its description and I'll see if it fits me, or just message me here or in a pm for what you are planning. The option for using set numbers such as the Standard Array or 27 Point Buy (or both). I'm fine with rng, but not when it defines my characters abilities for the entire life of the game. Allows the use of the 5e Shaped Character Sheet by Kryx. I dislike having to use OGL a lot. And yes, I know of the current bug, but he's patched that in an update coming up. Group size is 3 to 5 players who consistently come at the scheduled time. I strongly prefer 4 players, as that is what the game is balanced around, and I like the relatively speedy pace that still allows group interaction. If truly needed I can enter a group with 7 players total. Super group events are fine, as long as it doesn't overstay its welcome. Allows all official races, classes, background features, and descriptors (such as gender/age). Discrimination is fine in-game, as long as I have the opportunity to roleplay it out. If it has very strong story reasons, such as everyone belonging to a human military, or an elven druid circle I'd be fine with those limits. Doesn't force roles by group composition. If anything I've gotten tired of the usual balances, but I don't mind if it ends up that way either. Maturity in tone, both from the players and the world. I've heard some pretty cringe stuff that definitely made me feel uncomfortable. I otherwise don't mind lightheartedness. Description of what level it will plan to end at. Cutting out a lot of planning is not fun when you expect your characters' goals to be accomplished in the last tier with epic boons, then suddenly having it switch to ending before the personal story even begins. Session Zero to get everyone on the same page with the DM's expectations, and perhaps have some group organization of characters, such as someone else being a sibling or cousin, or everyone being in the same military squad. Microphones are strongly recommended or required, but webcams not required. A list of what rule options are used, such as level of encumbrance, multiclassing and feat allowance, and so on. If there are hard taboos, please say what they are, such as no evil characters, slavery, stealing, sex, etc.... Describe any house rules, and how you handle Rules As Written, Intended, and Fun so I know what to expect. General info and logic of the world, so that I may plan things out, such as how nations are like so a soldier can have a perspective on it, all the dieties in values and personality so their cleric can seem in line with them, how races normally see and interact with each other, and so on. Very heavy RP, to the point combat may actually seem optional if the storylines allow it, and milestone lvling seems reasonable. A long-term story that unites the player characters to cooperate naturally rather than meta-forcing it. Railroad and open-world seem balanced and fair, with opportunities for the players to force and shape their ways out of each event and where they want to ultimately go, and the DM to show its not just the party that affects his world, but the world also can heavily affect the party. The criteria here is optional, but it would definitely perk my interest A very personal and active DM in terms of communication. I'd love to weave a story with them, such as a later backstabber to the group, a gradual redemption of a criminal, or some other storyline that can only happen with cooperation. I can help make ring tokens, world build, npcs, magic items, monsters, maps, and storylines too. That there is an indifference to acceptance of other cultures, lifestyles, or interests, such as anime or furry. I myself may or may not create a character that could be described and stereotypically acts as such, I'd rather not be in a group that is hostile to them. Use Discord. I can do Skype too, but I'd rather not have to install anything else. I like the concept of 5e Faerun Factions, and would love to see your in-universe options for them. Trinkets are allowed and used in some form. Even a pair of old socks can be used to describe some insane wizard's fascination with smelling them for roleplaying laughs. A willingness to allow the players to shape a bit of the world so their character ideas can take form, such as being a princess, an infamous assassin, a clan leader, or even outlandish ones like a dragon forced to live life as a humanoid by a curse. I don't expect every edgy unique snowflake made by teenagers to be accepted, but I love creativity, and this would allow me to express it. Dedication to helping progress a character's personal goals, with reception and implementation to feedback both ways. If given the choice I'd prefer standard encumbrance, but I've worked with its variant before, or none at all. (this is why everyone dumps str if it isn't a primary attack stat) I can start at any level, but I'd like to start at lvl 1 even if in backstory the character is are already a seasoned veteran, so that the group can naturally get closer over the course of their adventures. The DM is very loose in the forcible change of alignment. Some of the characters I have, have nominal actions, but hidden agendas. For example a freedom loving pirate forced to act lawfully or have his daughter executed (in secret to the rest of the group), or a truly immoral power-hungry sorcerer who happens to think getting allies and gaining the respect and admiration of the people is the best way to gain godhood, who's powers are based on the passion and numbers of the faithful to him.
