[LFP] d&d 5e, Mondays 7-11PM EST starting on 9/11/17

Looking for two players to join an on-going d&d 5e campaign. We had a couple of players leave because of their schedules so we want to make sure that any new players can reliably join in. We will play on Mondays from 7-11PM EST (starting on Monday, September 11th). As a GM, I try to mix in equal parts combat and roleplaying but the goal is to more heavily emphasize role-playing. Consequently, please be prepared to role-play your character. The campaign and setting are home brewed, but the world is your standard d&d fare (i.e. populated by standard races and using Greyhawk gods). The overall tone of the world is serious (names, places, and themes are standard high fantasy) but shenanigans on the part of players are always encouraged. The world is a sandbox on a huge map, but I provide large events to hook players (which can always be ignored). As a DM philosophy/strategy I like to plan out some big things that will happen (on a global/empire scale) but only plan specifics one or two sessions ahead to avoid railroading. The party is good aligned but I'm fine with any alignment you want to pitch. Your character will be starting at 8th level and can be any race/class (to be joining a sorcerer, rogue, cleric, and ranger). I'm fine with outside race/class/archetypes (two of the current players have third party archetypes), but I'll need to approve any unofficial 5e content of course. We use discord for voice chatting (no video) and coordinate sessions on Facebook messenger. Post on here and we can message to see if you're a good fit. This looks pretty fun, if you still have room for two my partner and I have been looking for a game and this looks like a good fit in theme and time

Unfortunately, we only have space for one more now (the party is 5 and I don't want a party larger than 6). I'll PM you if something ends up opening up though!

Sounds like a good group. How do you handle turns for folks to talk with 6 smoothly? At 4-5 we sometimes clip each other and it takes patience and guess work without visual cues.&nbsp; I'm interested in joining the group, and need to zero in on who this new adventurer will be.&nbsp;
