Whispering is not a sufficient method of communication between players; since there's so many points of failure with typing a command in manually and chat messages that are too long are posted separately as a non-private message. Right now I use Skype/Discord to talk to players privately, which isn't a very fluid experience, since I'm constantly changing windows to talk to different players. Even separate chat tabs for individual players would be a huge improvement.
