Looking to see how much interest there would be in a drop-in-and-play Pokemon game (a concept I've dubbed a massive multiplayer tabletop game). Players could drop in, see what other Trainers are on, and challenge them any time. Organized "plot" events would be scheduled for Gym Leader appearances (badges!), villainous team shenanigans, and other large-group activity. The Pokemon would be built using a modified version of Monsters and Other Childish Things, by Arc Dream Publishing. Rules are not required; everything you need to play is on the Pokemon sheets. (Trainers don't get sheets- everyone knows that humans in the Pokemon universe are utterly incapable of doing anything but giving their pokemon instructions, right?) Nothing more complicated than counting to 10. I've taught 8 year olds this system. So... who thinks this sounds interesting?
