Hello friend! My name is Mikey, and I'm interested in starting up a new online campaign here on Roll20. To do that, I'm going to need a number of players who are equally interested in participating! The following is copied-and-pasted from the Looking for Players listing found here . What is this campaign about? "Arkland: Olympus" is a homebrewed campaign and system set in a science-fictional future. The main story revolves around the second-ever series of the galactic Olympic Games, taking place in the virtual reality known as Olympus. The prize? Seven-gajillion credits to the top-performing player, and half-a-gajillion more to distribute among all other top-performing players! An incredible and amazing amount... and you could be the big winner. Who is the gamemaster? Hi! I'm the gamemaster. My name is Mikey and I've got a lot of roleplaying experience. I was introduced to the hobby and the love of good narratives by my parents. I consider myself both a writer and an avid gamer. This campaign will feature both immersive, text-based storytelling and intricate, strategic combat scenarios. Although the preferred roleplaying medium is through text, it is still open to voice for those who prefer verbal enactment and play. I'm okay with either-or; I myself sometimes switch between the two depending on mood and pace. When is it taking place? Currently, sessions are planned to take place every other Monday (that means twice every month) in the afternoon approximately at 1pm Pacific Time (PT). Each session should, at the very most, be 5 hours in length--though this is a (hopefully) generous answer. This can change based upon popular demand, or if the preferred scheduling of players aligns in another way. How can I find out more and apply as a player? "Arkland: Olympus" is currently accepting player applications! You can do so by proceeding to the first questionnaire  here , which also gives some more detail into the campaign itself. Do note that although the campaign listing states that 10 total players are needed, in reality the group will be about a total of 5; there are extra players listed due to some of them being playtesters. I look forward to hearing from you! If you have any questions, feel more than welcome to ask here,  send me a private message , or even refer to the Looking for Players forum post  here . I'll try to respond as soon as possible. In any case, I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you for your time, interest, and consideration.
