Our group is 4 players (one of which is on a short break) and our DM but we are near the end of our current campaign and want to let him take a break from DMing. We'd ask you to come in as a player for the last bit of this game so we could see how well we get along then have you take over when this campaign comes to an end. The Game: We're playing 5E. There's a mix of both combat and RP, the group is quite into character development and dynamics but we bash some monster skulls here and there! The game time is 8-11 PM EST on Saturday nights. Us: Our group has been running together for about 2 years (with a few newer additions), both in homebrews and published modules. I would say our group is a bit more RP-heavy than average, but not exhaustingly so. Note that a pair of our players have 2 young children who often makes noise in the background while we play; this has not proved problematic for us, but if you are easily derailed or put off by extraneous noise, this may not be the group for you. You: Awesome, hopefully. Be able to commit to the one night per week of gaming. (Obviously, things come up, we won't "fire" you if life gets in the way, but please no on-again/off-again DMs!)
