Game folder dublicated upon "Add Subfolder"

Hey, I was going to add another Subfolder. I typed in the name in the little box that opens up, pressed enter and then suddenly had the same folder twice. One containing the new subfolder and one that doesn't. It occured on Windows 10, Chrome Version 61.0.3163.79 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit) Now I would usually just try deleting them one by one or all at once or w/e but I read in older threads, here on the forum, that there were issues with accessing the data in the other folders after that. How do I go about fixing this? Edit: I moved the folder into another so as to not be bothered by it for now. That worked fine. I would still like to just get rid of the duplicate. Also: this may need fixing anyway so I'm considering this the first bug report of my very own! ;) Regards Me
This might have been a communication error between you and Firebase, does this happen repeatedly or just this one instance? Thank you!

I have been unable to repeat this behavior. So I guess its a one-off sort of thing.  I was playing around with it a little now, the two folders behave strangely, they do the following: When I delete the handout from the second folder, it is also gone from the first. When I delete the handout from the first folder, it is also gone from the second. Archiving a handout from either folder leads to the handout from both folders beeing archived. It then says 2 archived Handouts on the bottom, but when clicking on it, to display those handouts, only one of the archived shows up (Maybe because both are named exactly the same?) When I add a handout to the first folder (via right click) it does NOT appear in the first folder but instead in the second. When I add a handout or folder to the second folder (via right click) it does ONLY appear in the second folder. Drag&Droping a new handout into the first folder behaves as expected: the folder appears where I droped it. not sure whats going on, it seems the first folder is some kind of connected copy. How can I fix this without loosing all the data in the folders? It seems there is no simple fix, at least I don't see one.
What I am guessing is that you have some duplicated IDs for the items in your journal. So when you make changes to one of the items that were present when the duplication happened, it happens to both copies. But when adding folders- both by dragging and creating- you don't get that behavior. And it might be that the 2nd folder is a "master" of sorts with the right click behavior. For now, I would recommend setting aside those two copies so you don't lose any information. I will be logging a bug ticket here for the devs to look at. Thank you for the information, it was a huge help! :)

Thank you for the quick reply! The duplicate folder is now in the "player graveyard". regards Me, still
