[I did make one, semi-major mechanics error. Whenever Chra was hit in the darkness, he should have made a concentration check. I always forget those. Even though he mostly took minor damage when in the darkness spell from Ugh, he/she should have been making a concentration check each time. My apologies.] The party finished off the goblin gladiator and the goblin archers fled across the bridge. With them was the white dragon. Alaise and Ugh hid behind some boulders, Bardman continued to heal people, while Helios (now flaming) and Nikon continued to conjure magical destruction upon the goblins. The dragon flew underneath the bridge, sticking his head out once to demand their surrender then continued to flee. Unarmed goblins came out of the cavern at the other side of the bridge, dozens of them, chanting. Helios fireballed them, killing all but one who barely survived. The party went to the south through the tower where there was some gold and a healing potion on a wooden/bone altar that was recently constructed and obviously trapped. Nikon took the potion, and there was a puff of steam and a popping sound. Alaise entered the area and resisted confusion. The party moved further west, and more goblins, some unarmed, had retaken the bridge, all the while chanting. Bardman used a bead of force on them and then the party marched forward. They entered combat with the goblins, easily killing them while fighting the archers who had fled. To the south was a room of chanting goblins blocked by the goblin mage who became the ice giant. As they battled the goblin archers and ice giant, the ice giant kept summoning darkness and regenerating. Alaise killed one of the chanting goblins in the south room which had a layer of light snow/sleet hanging in the air. The bones of the dragon from the pit had been taken out and assembled in the south room which had side rooms with sarcophaguses in it. After trying to fight the ice giant, it proceeded to tell them it was completing a ritual to summon Auril, which would bring back winter. That winter, it said, would slow down Girkchar, halt Corrive, and could potentially drive the fire giant from Shevorth lands. They talked for a moment, then semi-rekindled the fight but only half-heartedly with Alaise getting encased in a bead of force and the creature remaining. Ugh talked with Chra [the White Dragon, Ice Giant, Goblin Mage… whatever it is]. After some discussion, Ugh agreed to become Auril’s conduit into the realm. Apparently the party had already killed whatever “appropriate vessel” Chra had already prepared. After talking about the options, Ugh pointed out “There is little choice. At least I can try to be me when Auril comes.” Ugh also admitted, “Ugh both loves and fears Auril. She is the pure force of nature, in a bad way. But that alone makes Ugh stronger, makes all of us stronger, and for that Ugh loves Auril.” After more talk, Ugh reminded them, “We cannot defeat Chra. If we run him off, he will only flee and try this again. This is our only option.” Thokoli came running in from the north, an area that was previously blocked. He was dragging the bodies of two goblins. “Hey guys, I killed two goblins.” Then he looked around and saw the bodies of goblins piled up on the bridge and elsewhere. “What’s up, guys?” They explained the situation and he said, “That is some heavy shit.” and moved off to the north back from whence he came. Bardman and Helios offered to stick around during the ritual at Ugh’s request of any who wish to stay do. Nikon fled. Alaise agreed to wait further back in case he needed to go get help. Edit: Nikon didn't flee. He "protested the group's irresponsible decision by making a hasty retreat to safety".

I think Nikon's fleeing was more of a matter of not believing his friends would allow an evil god lose in the world simply because its worshippers tell them that everything will be fine and dandy. So more as a form of protest and of a well, I'm not going to stick around when everything turns to shit. Nikon, while a coward does realize just how evil even the more honorable god can truly be when it comes to the mortals. Hell, look at how the dragons treat the humans.

There you go, it's been updated.
Once we concluded that Helios was going to stay, bardman would be leaving with Alaise.
