[5e SRD] Why doesnt this site have all the info??

I thought this was the perfect site for me and my friends who were getting into D&D for the first time and we used it to make our characters and find out about the different spells and numbers and everything but i keep reading on other sites about things that are nowhere to be seen here. Im a warlock and apparently Hex is what it's all about but Hex isnt on roll20, why? My friend was making an elf druid and the only subrace option was high elf, why wasnt there any info on the option to be a forest elf? Why was there only info on one of the bard College options? I really liked using this site but I have to keep going elsewhere because this site is missing so much. Does anyone know why?
Hi Andrew R. , The 5th Edition SRD Compendium can only contain information (such as race and class options, feats, spells, treasure, monsters, etc.) that is located within WoTC's Systems Reference Document . If WoTC releases more SRD content under an Open Gaming License, you can count on that being added to the Compendium.
that really really sucks. Why not include some of the player submitted made up contributions just in brackets or a separate page or something? You can't even mention that there's an option for a forest elf but you the player have to make up the stats and abilities yourself? I love the spell list by level for each class where you can read a bit of the description but I just found out that I have to go to another site to see the full list where its not presented as well. The info was laid out so helpfully here but theres no indication on the page that there's info being purposefully left out and now our characters are missing out on things they should have. Why include 90% of the rules without telling us that you're withholding the other 10% that you know about?

Feel free to throw your support behind  this suggestion thread . But Roll20 is not permitted  to include content not within the SRD. It's a legal issue.

The SRD is kind of a loss leader or demo version of D&D for WotC. They give you enough to play the game and to even publish your own material within proscribed limits, but they are ultimately in the business of selling books. And the SRD is what allows you to "try before you buy". If you find a site that has all of the info from the Player's Handbook (without charge), you can be certain that it is doing it without WotC's express permission.

And just to add on to what keithcurtis mentions...it would also be copyright infringement to include non-SRD info on those other sites, which is why Roll20 doesn't include it.
