Our story takes place in the Modern Age. The game is for four players total with two of the slots in this game having a class restriction of private eye and professor.
The game begins on the 22 of September 2017 in Southern California. It centers around the town of Hacienda Heights and Whittier.
On September 22 2016 at Whittier College fourteen girls, all
members of the Tau Gamma Sorority, were found viciously murdered in
their house. The police never found out who was responsible for the
crimes though many people were questioned. All of the girls were of
Asian decent most of them being Japanese. They were all found in the
basement of their Sorority house by Julian Ramos a boyfriend of one of
the victims. He was questioned and detained but released.
The police released very few details to the public. However,
the fact that all of the funerals were either cremations or closed
casket affairs it is assumed the victims died particularly awful deaths.
The chief of police resigned during the case and the lead detective
shot himself after drowning his children while they visited him during
the weekend. All of these events lead to the case being declared closed
on March 15 2017.
On September 10 2017 Gwene Toshaka the only member of here
sorority to survive is found dead in her on campus apartment. The police
ruled her death a suicide.
On September 21 Dean Ambrose sent out letters to a private
investigator (player character) and called professor ...(player
character) to his office in order to investigate a letter the college
had just received. The letter mentioned the murders and multiple details
which the police never gave to the press. The Dean has already called
the police but they think it may just be a hoax. As such he would like
you both to investigate the matter further.
