[LFP] [D&D 5e] GM (fairly new to Roll 20) Looking for players for upcoming one-shots, potential campaign

Hello All, I'm looking for an indefinite number of players who would be interested in running some upcoming one-shot games, as the title suggests. I'm hoping to run a handful of said one-shots until I find a number of players who are open-minded, kind, and create a welcome environment for role-playing and fun. Once we've built a solid group of players who are interested in starting up a campaign, I would like to collaboratively create a setting using microscope/kingdom and run something either weekly or biweekly. I have not spent much time as a GM on Roll 20, so I would ask for everyone's patience while I learn this platform and, as thus, some of my content may be very simple, or more theater of the mind, until I get the hang of everything. I am okay with text, voice, or video communication, but my preferred is generally voice only as my webcam sucks and I haven't bought a new one yet. What I expect from my players: - Open Mindedness / Judgement free - Kindness / Respect for everyone else at the "table" - Come prepared to play. (Know your character and their skills/abilities/etc, look up spells before your turn, take care of outside business) - Open communication, with other players as well as myself I am okay with new or inexperienced players so long as they conform to the above. I care more about what kind of person you are, and how well we all work together, rather than how many gaming hours you have under your belt. I am always okay with helping folks learn how to play the game, but it would need to be before the session so it's not disrespectful to the other players taking the time out of their day. Questions or back and forth are also okay during the game, I'm just looking to avoid the situation where an individual has no idea how to play their character and has put forth no effort whatsoever to try and learn. Those are the kind of situations that frustrate other players and limit how much fun we all have as a group. What Players should expect from me: - Everything listed above in the player's section - Flexibility when it comes to rules (so long as it makes sense, is reasonable, and does not happen constantly (see below)) - Rewarding players for being true to the narrative, their characters, good role-playing, and creativity. (Bonus XP, special plot hooks, rule flexibility, boons, etc) - Generally speaking 60-70% Role-playing & Exploration, 30-40% Combat encounters. (Can vary a bit with one-shots though) - Availability from 8:00pm - 12:00am (Eastern Time) most days Thanks for reading everyone, and If you are interested in playing together please reply in the format below. Preferred communication is (any that apply) [ ] Text [ x] Voice [ ] Video Quick Bio : Kind of a chill player. I like a mix of rp and combat. I am an older player so I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing. I like to think I am welcoming to people and I know I have a open mind. I could be available for one shots at different times depending on the week. I am open to play pretty much any class. I tend to play clerics and rogues more than anything else but I have dabbled in barbarian and pally.
Name: Gilder Time zone: EST  Availabilty: any day after 4pm est except Thursday and Saturday  D&D Exp: currently in 2 games and have been playing offline for close to 2 years I prefer to do voice over Skype or Discord either one  I enjoy Rp and exploration with a dab of combat. I love teaching and helping others in dnd and have tons of patience for newer players. I mostly play Clerics and Paladins but I’m never afraid to try something new.
My Name is : Alex My Timezone is: CET My Availability is: Friday and Saturday (cause the games would be at night for me) My D&D 5e experience is: just started playing D&D offline with some friends (3 Seassions with experienced GM) Preferred communication is (any that apply) [ ] Text [x] Voice [ ] Video Quick Bio : Well I just started the whole D&D thing :D And I really fell in love with it. My offline Group has always Problems to find a new Day. I like the exploration and the fights, but I still have to learn how to RP better :) I'm open to critizism and ready to learn from all of you. I'm living in Germany so the games would go from 12 am till 4 am, which would mostly be Friday and Saturday for me.
My Name is : Alex (or something else if we end up with both Alex's) My Timezone is: EST My Availability is: ~6:00-12:00pm or weekends My experience is: Nothing, I'm new Preferred communication is (any that apply) [ ] Text [x] Voice [x] Video Quick Bio : Always wanted to try D&D out and I just saw Critical Role(voice actors playing), so I finally want to give it a go. I do have some minor experience with improv, so I'm not afraid to do voices or make myself look stupid. Since I'm completely new to this kind of stuff, I'll probably need some help setting up my character and getting going, but I'm definitely ready to learn.
My Name is : George (27) My Timezone is: EST My Availability is: Anytime after 5:00 PM except Fridays My D&D 5e experience is: GMing a campaign for friends now, otherwise about 2-3 years on and off. Preferred communication is (any that apply) [ ] Text [ X ] Voice [ ] Video Quick Bio : I am typically on the DM side of the screen, and looking for a couple games to get the chance to play. I am currently involved in another bi-weekly Roll20 campaign on Fridays, but I can make time pretty much any other day after work. Overall I am fairly relaxed out of character, but can pick up a character and develop strategies of play. Typically I like to play calculating characters who try to play people socially or stay one step ahead logically. Playing a meathead fighter would probably not be my style, though I could probably adapt.
