If you haven’t heard , the Tabletop Forge Community is joining us here at Roll20. What’s this mean? For Current Roll20 Users: We’ll keep on doing what we’re doing, and Joshuha Owen (Tabletop Forge’s lead developer) is joining our moderation team. The benefits to us are many-- Joshuha’s got a lot of good ideas and a background in both roleplaying games and programming that is sure to help us make new connections and innovations moving forward. Most of all, Joshuha is a Google+ enthusiast in a way that few others can match, and we’re sure he’s going to help expand our community in those... circles (haha, G+ humor). For New Roll20 Users, from Tabletop Forge: Hey, welcome! There’s a bunch of information about the transition that’s being sent to you in various places (particularly if you were a TTF Kickstarter backer), but the most important thing to say is that we’re really happy to have you here. We’re hopeful that you’ll help us to help you in making more games possible for more players! For Everyone in Online Roleplaying: One of the reasons Joshuha joining us here at Roll20 came about is the overlap in what we were doing. We were both focused on an easy-to-use, lightweight program for tabletop gaming. That said, we continue to believe that Roll20 won’t be the perfect solution for everyone. There are other programs out there, still. If what we’re doing here doesn’t work for you, pursue those other options. If we’re CLOSE to what you need, but not quite there... be active! We love polite feedback and collaboration between users to make this a better place. So join in. And if we’re just awesome and you love us... hey, thanks! :)
