Text Box glitch

I discovered some major glitching with Text Boxes. I would type in a text box in the GM layer, and use the Enter key to create line-wrapping (text did not wrap at the edge of the screen, though perhaps it would wrap at the edge of the actual page?). When I did anything outside the text box (such as selecting another item, going to the text box editor and selecting a text color) the box broke up into multiple boxes, one for each line. I later did a copy-and-paste from the GM layer to the Tokens&Items layer, and this caused the boxes to jumble. My player saw them jumbled as well, even after I sorted them out into the right order. If I used the Fog of War to cover the text, then revealed it, he reported that the boxes were once again jumbled. I was able to fix this by simply selecting all the boxes (which on my GM screen were still in the right order) and moving them an inch. This sorted them out for my player to see them as I'd laid them out on my screen.
The text entry seems to be focused on map labels rather than text boxes. I am using a page as a pause screen and for exposition. The default text behavior is pretty difficult. I'd like a text box that supports line breaks. Some rich text would be even better. As a work around, I am using images created by taking a picture of text in a word processor.
I had forgotten how difficult the text boxes were to use. Had similar problems when I GM'd a game. Thanks and noted.
