LFP Sandbox game, homebrew system (based on 2nd edition)

Hello, I am planning on running a sandbox game using a homebrew system based, some would say loosely, on 2nd edition D&D. The game will be played on Saturday at 2:00PM GMT with a group of 3 players plus the GM(myself). You probably wish to know a bit about the game, I will indulge you: The game will be played on roll20 but I will use no such things as "encounter maps" or "dungeon maps" unless I find them necessary, I prefer the faster paced combat that comes from simply describing the battle scene and letting players describe their actions. ( As a side note, I will be using party initiative to increase the speed of things). The setting is medival, pre-industrial revolution, pre gun powder ( which means no guns, no cannons... etc). The ruling systems within the world are mainly feudal or feudal-like and the quality of life is not as high as that in a "high fantasy" setting such as those used by 4th ed and Pathfinder. We will be playing in a roughly 10.000x10.000Km world, out of which 40-60% will probably be water. The map will be composed of 100 smaller 1000x1000Km "zone maps" that I will be constantly creating. The world is roughly inspired from The Silmarillion, the LOTR Trilogy, ASOIAF ( fantasy book series by GRRM, if you haven't heard about them you surely heard of the TV show "game of thrones" which is based on them) but it doesn't necessarily share that many similarities with them. You will be seeing the "typical" DnD monsters and the typical "common, dwarven and elven language" and "gold as universal currency" tropes and many other more. You will be starting at level one, so don't expect you character to be "epic","heroic" or even "special" in any way, not at the start of the game at any rate. Races will be limited to the typical 2e races, more or less. To give you some details about myself and what you can expect of me as a GM: I live in Europe and English is my second language (and even so, I learned it mostly from books and games) thus it might be harder for me to describe an epic scenario and I might require a bit of time to muster up my words in certain situations. So if bad grammar and questionable accents are no-go for you than you will probably not enjoy this game. I am not a "new" GM but my experience pales in comparison to some people here which played and DM-ed for up to 30-40 years. So again, if you are looking for an experienced GM or someone who is into the "old school" style of dungeon crawling games I am probably the wrong guy for you. If you have any further questions about anything feel free to PM me and I will gladly answer them. Now, lets get of what is "required" of you "the player": -You need to be able to play every time(Saturday at 2:00PM GMT ), as part of a 3 player group you need to understand the fact that if you aren't able to play none will be able to play. If the nature of your job, social relationships, internet or other issues might prevent you from playing 1 every 5 or 6 games ( or even more often) then please do not join, that type of schedule might work with 4 or 5 player games but it won't work with this one. You can obviously miss a session once in a blue moon if shit hits the fans but if it happens often than that will be a problem. -You have to be able to use a MICROPHONE and SKYPE. That is the way we will communicate and it is mandatory to have both, we might switch to TS or mumble if someone has a server tho. -You have to be able to talk, I understand that some people like to simply sit and listen. Maybe you have anxiety issues, maybe you don't like speaking a foreign language or maybe you just enjoy playing "passively"... that will not work for this type of game. The reason why I do 3 player games is to give every player time to speak and every character time to develop, if your only addition to the plans of the party is "Yeah, ok" every time than you will probably not fit this type of group. Also, keep in mind that the system is home-brewed and not a "2nd" edition, I will give you all the required PDFs and detail if you wish to know them before deciding upon joining. If the above paragraphs did not turn you off from joining the game, either due to their length or due to the requirements I impose then you might wish to join this campaign. In that case send me a PM with a bunch of information as to who you are and why do you wish to play so I can get a very general idea of what type of player you are and judge you based on misguided, stereotypical views. Example: "Hi, my name is X, I am Y years old an I live in Z where I work as an A. I am a huge fan of the fantasy books "C" and "D". I have been playing RPGs since "number" and I am led to think I might enjoy this type of campaign due to reason B"... something around those lines If you already have an idea for a character be it "I want to play X class and Y race" or "This is a backstory for the guy I want to play", then feel free to share it to be. Again, if you need any more information feel free to contact me and I will answer all your questions.
