Hoi Chummers Two years ago I started up a project, "Games for Gm's", based on the idea of communally growing a gm's talent pool. Oftentimes Gm's will ask how to handle X situation, only to give and receive incomplete information based on the situation. My idea was that the best way to get solid advice is to experience the same situations. So I started grabbing up 4-6 other gm's and ran a game for them. We would do some gm oriented discussions among ourselves about the game and how we each would have handled different details. This later grew into "ShadowWalking". Where I grabbed small groups of folks and ran a game for them for a few months. The idea to get a few folks who are interested in gming, but put off by so many things about shadowrun that they didn't want to give it a try. To break down those walls between the mechanics, the setting, the themes, all of it. That hopefully at the end of the run with that group there would be a few more people who are willing to run games. At this time, its breaking into the holiday season. So rather than try and get a singular group up and running, I am trying a bit more of a west marches style. Posting up a game to have folks from the game sign up for it. This way I can keep being the change I want to see in the world, rather than taking 3 months off to let the holidays past Game posting The plan is to run at least 1 game a week from November to January. Most games will take place in Eastern timezone friendly times. Although i will make attempts on some weekends for other zones Sadly I cannot commit to a day at the moment due to holiday stuff Although, if certain days are more popular than others I will aim for those days/times I intend to help with all aspects of the game, from character creation to payouts If other gms who are involved want to run games on their own time with the folks involved, I would love to see that. Games will later be archived over on my youtube channel with the previous 3 groups, the games for gm's games, my gm advice, my character creation stuff, basically everything else I have done SR related. I intend to stream the games over on my twitch channel. if you have any questions, please I spend too much time on reddit so I will be around to answer them as quickly as possible
