[LFP] 5E Sundays 8 PM Eastern - Legends of Faerun

Weekly campaign, beginning on November 19th - Sundays at 8 PM. Session Zero will take place Sunday, November 12th.&nbsp; Level 1 characters to begin.&nbsp; No homebrew or UA, anything official from Wizard's is allowed. Hoping to fill between 3 to 5 spots.&nbsp; The game will be driven mostly by the role playing choices of the player characters, with an open-style feel. There will be a dynamic world with plenty of factions, unique characters (and some familiar faces), dangerous monsters, political strife and deadly areas to explore.&nbsp;

what is your Session zero like? I would also like to know what this game type is? sandbox? story?&nbsp; Political Strife? Like don't bring giant to Waterdeep.

Session zero we will go over any house rules, and introduce everyone to each other. I will also assist in any questions people have about creating characters.&nbsp; Overall it will begin very sandboxy, potentially becoming more focused as the party develops goals for itself.&nbsp; The setting is Forgotten Realms, but it will not stay religious to the timeline of events. However the party will likely run into some familiar faces, possibly including Harshnag, the Frost Giant from Waterdeep.&nbsp;

Do you prefer players well-versed in the Forgotten Realms lore?

I should've clarified that, great question - it's irrelevant overall. If you are familiar you'll see a lot of characters and take part in some of the major events you recognize, but if you aren't that's great too!&nbsp; New players to 5E, and people new to Forgotten Realms are both absolutely welcome.&nbsp;
