I am new to D&D 5E, having problems making a char to use in game

I have went over time and time again on the wiki site provided.. it looks like i have to study HTML to make a character sheet. ? I am hoping i am looking to hard and over looking something simple. I just need to make a character sheet for D&D 5e. If you are able to help me out i would be most appreciative. Thanks you in advance!!

You need to have knowledge of html and css in order to design a character sheet. There are several that have already been designed and extensively playtested and are freely available for use. You choose one when you create a campaign, and all characters of that campaign use that sheet. You do not need to know css or html to simply create a character if you wish to use an already created sheet. If you have some need not covered by an existing character sheet design, then yes, it is complex enough a process to require some knowledge of html and css
Hi, John S. Welcome to Roll20! Traditionally, players fill out the Character Sheet tab of a Character within their DM/storyteller's Game after being assigned that Character by their DM/storyteller. Within a Game, only the Creator or a promoted GM are able to add Characters and assign them to players . Alternatively, if you are able to export Characters into your DM/storyteller's Game, you may opt to create a Character within your own Game , and then transfer that Character to your DM/storyteller's Game using the Character Vault . Good luck!
Thank you two very much!!! And also thank you for the welcoming!! I am really excited to get started here on Roll20!!!  I started the makings of a game just to see how the innards worked and i looked and clicked on anything available in the game making process and couldnt find anything that took me to filling out a char. sheet or uploading one.. but.. again i am sure i am over looking the obvious ... and i will continue looking through all the information i can find.
