[LFG][5E] DM looking to play for a change

Hello everyone! I've been DMing 5e for about a a year and a half now, and as much as I love doing it, sometimes I just want to step into the players shoes! Occasionally I come up with a character idea that I think is very cool, but running it as an npc just isn't the same, so, here I am! A little about myself - I'm 22 years old, male, living in Arizona, but I'm completely willing to work with other time zones depending on the time difference. I'm in the military and working 5 days a week, Monday-Friday, so I'm afraid it will have to be weekends only for me. Occasionally I get called to go in on weekends, so I may be forced to miss sessions on occasion, but that happening is few and far between. I'd like to join a game on Saturdays, as I normally run my game or host a board game night on Sundays, however if need be I can move that to Saturday and play on Sundays What I'm looking for - A long-term campaign with a dedicated party. I enjoy both combat and roleplaying, and have a few character ideas floating around. We can talk over what the party needs and what works in your world. I'm mainly just looking to have some fun, and like to joke around, but like some seriousness at times as well. The best part of creating a character for me is the backstory, so I'm hoping for a group that likes to get into character and incorporate that sort of thing! Feel free to pm me or reply here. Hopefully I'll be playing with some of you soon!
Would you consider other systems? Like, say, Pathfinder?
Hi Justin, My Sunday story-focussed game is looking to round out with one more player. You can check out the details in the link but not 100% sure if you want to go flipping your schedule or not. Let me know. Cheers. https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/2559595/s... Stephen
