Hi all. I'm hoping to put together a group which can meet regularly to play one-shots or shorter multi-session campaigns in various systems . The idea is to provide an opportunity for people to try out new systems or story ideas which they might not otherwise have a chance to bring to the table. New players are welcomed. The group can also serve as a supportive and low-pressure environment for people interested in GMing for the first time, or as a playtest group if any of the members have game design aspirations. We would aim to meet with a fairly consistent schedule, with somebody pitching an idea each week for a game they are interested in running . I would be happy to kick things off by running the first session, and pick up the slack when nobody else is willing or able to GM. The nature of the group means that it wouldn't be necessary for every player to attend every session, and we would be resilient to people dropping out or joining later on. It can be really difficult to find a reliable online group, and trying to kick off a new group with a serious campaign often ends in disaster. People inevitably drop out after a handful of sessions, which can be really disruptive. But with the kind of casual group structure I'm proposing here I think we would stand a good chance of distilling a reliable, core group of players over time - potentially providing the stability needed to run more traditional extended campaigns in the future. I'm available Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 11am and 6pm UTC . Ideally we would pick one of these days and aim to meet weekly. Drop me a PM or reply here if you're interested. Thanks!
