As the title says. I have a drawn a map on graph paper, scanned it and loaded it into photoshop. I would like to upload it as my background to the Roll20 map editor. How can this be done?
You should just be able to drag the map file straight onto the Roll20 page; it'll load onto the current page, as well as store the image in your art library for future use. You can then go and tag your file with various tags ('map', 'outdoor', 'water', etc) for easier searching later, if you choose.
Nope, not a Mac thing. If you have any difficulties aligning your map to the Roll20 grid here is a guide to help: <a href="http://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3688/map-alignment-and-you-or-101-ways-to-get-your-grids-in-a-row#post-56712" rel="nofollow">http://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3688/map-alignment-and-you-or-101-ways-to-get-your-grids-in-a-row#post-56712</a> You can also upload images via the art library. Go to the art library tab, click on the black star and the art library manager will come up. You can click upload and upload images or a group of images to your art library. Note: there is a 5MB limit. Finally, we can do limited PDF conversion. If you have a PDF file you want you can drag it to the map and it will ask you what page you want converted to an image. It will do all the work. Note: If the PDF is larger than 5MB it wont work even if you only need a single page out of the PDF. - Gauss
