[LFP][5e][EU] GMT+2 Saturdays 6pm. Looking for 2 new players to join running campaign

Hey everyone, I run a game of 5th edition D&D in a homebrew setting. Recently our bard had to quit due to personal circumstances which left the party with 3rd level Paladin, Warcleric and a monk. Therefore, I would like to invite two new players to join us. Your Profile: Please be 18, my games tend to have mature language and content Newbie or Veteran, I dont care You dont have to be a native speaker but your English should be sufficient enough to have a normal conversation. female players are not only welcomed but I actually enjoyed running games with at least 1-2 women so far since I feel like it often adds some new perspective. So please talk to me if youd like to join. Please be a nice human being, the game should be fun for everyone at the table Be able to commit to a weekly session. A couple of things you should probably know before you think about joining. This is not a sandbox game. While players backstories and action obviously affect what happens, the greater story is already in my mind and certain events will happen. There will be a summary of what happened so far at the end of the post I am German and so is my native language but since I lived, studied and worked in the UK my English should be quite fine We have a working Discord setup with text and voice chat, so please have some sort of half decent microphone for voice chat. Yes, I do watch AI, RollPlay and Critical Role, and no I dont worship Mercer as a God. While he is a very good GM, I sometimes disagree with what he does and my style is different since I ie suck at doing voices and dont act out NPC behaviour. So please dont be like "but Matt did it this way in episode XX" About character creation and such The world is called Tyraria and its a continent surrounded by water and is mostly populated by Humans, Elves, Gnomes, Halflings and Dwarfes. That doesnt mean the other races are banned but are considered exotic at least with upsides and downsides that come along with that. You can play any class from corebooks, while classes or subclasses from other book require approval. No gunslingers. Generally, I would ask you not try to get UA or homebrew content into the game, if you really feel like thats for your character we can talk about it. Also handle feats with care since I like to hand them out as rewards but at the same time I dont want characters to end up with like 7 feats and if I would reward you with a feat but youve already taken it there wont be any substitute reward.  PCs die in my games. To reflect that, I have my players do backup characters. The Monk and the Cleric both are 2nd generation PCs. That doesnt mean they die easily but if you make stupid decision I wont save you as the DM. So now that the boring stuff is out of the way let me tell you a bit about what has transpired so far The party met while traveling to a city called Oakenside and decided it would be wise to group up. After arriving there, they introduced themselves to a bunch of people and made friends only to clash with a criminal organisation lead by someone called The Razor. Overestimating themselves they decided to take up the fight and assault his second-in-command only to be easily defeated and taken in front of the Razor. They were set free without any coin and most of their equipment to assassinate two people for him as payment for their freedom. Back in the city they devised a plan to get out of their predicament and in the process caught and tortured to death a young woman called Julia who apparently was spying on them. They then ambushed the second-in-command once more, and due to better preparation they barely came out victorious this time. They then left the city to find the Razor's hideout to burn it to the ground but realised that they were seriously lacking information. Trying to obtain that from a nearbly impoverished noble family somehow led to our adventurers taking the nobles hostage in their own house and threathening them. The city guards were alarmed and half the party was captured and imprisoned. They were convicted and sentenced to death not only for their actions against the nobles but also for their involvement in the dissappearence of the young and well respected woman Julia. However, thanks to the influence of a friend, a chance to redeem themselves was offered, the so called Court of Appeals. They had to make up with the noble family, gain approval by the royal family to hold this special court and convince a majority of the guildmasters, who were to be judges in this court, to vote in their favour. Long story short they managed to do this, some easier than others and their freedom was granted by the Court of Appeals. And this is where we are at the moment. As last remarks, please apply here and not per pm as my players will read and maybe comment here as well and their opinons will matter on who I am going to invite. So please tell us a bit about yourself and the race/class you would be interested in playing as you have to convince them as much as you have to convince me. Also if I have to add anything or change something because its unclear i will edit in italics ( maybe colour as well, if i can figure it out)
Hi there, I would be interested in joining. I am a 27-year-old female. I have played D&D 5e in the past, but due to the fact that I moved out of town, it was too difficult for me to continually drive the distance to the DM's house, so now I am looking for an online group! I would like to play a Tabaxi female warlock named Nyrena. I already have a character sheet for her, but I would prefer not to divulge her full bio here. I hope to hear from you soon!
Hello, I'm Bob. I'm a guy in my mid 20s and I've been playing tabletop RPGs for a long time. I enjoy myself some good story time with people who are willing to come together to share their creative ideas in the form of roleplaying, as well as the mechanical challenges that the group faces as a whole. As I try my best to be serious about applying for games, I need to state that, while attending weekly should not be a problem, the Date/Time would be tough to make if the games are meant to last more than 3 hours, due to work schedules.  Real life aside, in the game I'd most likely prefer to stick to a ranged, arcane approach, most likely a Half-Elf Sorcerer with the Dragonic Bloodline who focuses on fire spells. As the party's morality is questionable at best, at least from what I read here, this will allow the character I bring in to the table to provide more aid than conflict to the group, both in combat and in transit.  Regardless of if we speak in game or not, have fun out there. Being a DM is a tough job. Cheers mate.
Hello!!! I would like to join to your campaign. I am new to DnD, although I have played a couple of times as a guest player. I loved it, so I decided to play a long campaign this time. I am 27 btw, male.  I came up with a character which might fit well to your story. The character's backround is not completed yet, so I would appreciate a little help with that part.  Character's details: Rogue, path of the assasin with focus at charisma. He is a half-elf named Neil (not a typican name for half-elf though). He is raised within a human family and he is the 3rd son of a very rich and aristocratic man, so Neil has a noble background. The weird about this character is that he has a double personality disorder. Although he is very kind, elegant and charismatic he discovered that he has a lust for blood. The character is going to evolve along with the story.   If you want to have more details about the character please text me. Lets have some fun. ^_^
Hi, I'm Vaner, i'm 28. My timezone is    EST. I Have played D&D, Star Wars, Pathfinder on roll20. I started when I was a freshmen in college I started off watching the rpg in person and on youtube, then i got into playing. I know the rules of each of the game. Also played alot of campaigns outside of roll20, mostly on college grounds and at a friends house. I have five characters that i have made, each with its own story and background. They would be good for each campaign. Each of them except for the druid will muiti-class later on the campaign  1) Zinjeon Greenwood a High Elf Wizard ( Necromancy ) 2) Thuless Tindessuh a Wood Elf Druid ( Moon )  3)  Dedor Bimitot a Tiefling Warlock ( Patron The Fiend, Pact of the Tome ) 4) Marros Baja a Desert Half-Elf Sorcerer ( Phoenix ) 5) Resheid Sedz a Human Artificer ( Gunsmith )  For more information about them, pm me if would like to learn more.  Thanks
Hey there, I'd love to join if you've still got a spot. I'm a bit of an old hand and I've played nearly every edition to a significant degree. I'd like to discuss the needs of the party before deciding on a race, class or backstory, but just off the top of my head, I'd be pretty happy to play a Wizard, Bard, Barbarian or Rogue, possibly a multiclass of one of those. I have a few general concepts about each, and I'm leaning toward a Human or Half-Elf. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello, after reading your summary of the game, I really had to laugh. It sounds really chaotic, but also very fun and not over the top serious, which I like. About me: My name is Rey, 25 year old student with too much spare time. I started playing since D&D5e and I am really into it. I have created many different characters, since I love thinking of new ones. They all have rich backstories, which I also like to create. I can spend hours thinking of the perfect combination of skills and abilities to make it realistic. But I do not min/max. I want it to be immersive as my top priority. What I like about the game is getting immersed in the world, overcoming encounters (f.e. dungeons) and the interaction with other players or NPCs. I have a lot of experience (also outside of roll20), since I created many characters and looked into each class, race and different fighting styles. I also GMed a couple of games before. I live in GMT+1 (Germany) and consider myself fluent in the english language, although a bit lacking in vocabulary. But I aim to get better each and every day. I also have a decent microphone and Discord. About my character(s): I always have several ideas for characters and always like to create new ones with different combinations, meaning that I will create a new character for this campaign. That being said, my concept of creating characters is more like an idea of the person, I would like to play, and then I choose the fitting class/race/fighting style. I like fleshing out my character's backstory and would love for it to be a part of the story at one point, but that isn't necessary. I like to create interesting characters, not so much the cliche ones. They all have quirks and secrets, which I like to include into my RP. My characters are always Good or Neutral. Current ideas (not set): Sorceress, Wild Magic or Storm Sorcery, with a focus on Lightning Spells. City Watch Brawler, who is a secret vigilante. (No killing, of course) Monster Hunter (Blood Hunter class), if possible. Become evil to fight evil, Death Knight (Death Domain Cleric), who was touched by an evil god. Yarrrr, Swashbuckler Rogue, jumping in and out of combat, dancing people to death. And many more. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Ok so ive invited one player and am waiting for players input for the second spot. Just so you are up to date

Hey! I am probably a little late to the party, but I just saw the post and Saturday would suit me perfectly.  My name is Philipp, 26 and also from Germany. Although at the moment I am travelling through Ireland so I am in UTC timezone, but that should not make a difference for you (Germany-time -1 hour). I am currently playing in an active West Marches Community but we do not have games on Saturdays. I've been watching DnD streams for about 3 years now (mainly itMeJP and Adam Koebel's Roll20 streams) and I just recently started playing (1 month ago). I played about 15 sessions up to this point all of which were in Roll 20 and I am familiar with most of the rules as they come up and I have access to a PHB.  The DM's I've played with so far are all happy with me as a player, that's part of the reason why I got 15 games in 30 days in ;) Because I regularly fill slots in unfilled games. I am very good at remembering rules and I do like to play by them to the best of my ability. Even when they work against me ;) I would love to play a tiefling, warlock. Personally I would prefer the Raven Queen, but I am fine with picking Fiend as a patron if you don't want UA in your game. Pact boon will be Pact of the tome.  As backup character I would probably go with rogue, but I am happy to fill if you need anything specific. I do have a lvl 4 fighter, battlemaster, a lvl 4 UA ranger beastmaster and a lvl 4 Totem Wolf Barbarian in my West Marches campaign, so I would prefer not to play these classes ;) (You might have guessed the maximum level in our campaign is lvl 4 at the moment) I don't really like multiclassing and I will not make use of it, because I think it can get way to abusive way to fast. But I am fine if you allow it in your game. For character personality I usually don't put too much effort into that beforehand, because I like them to evolve during the game. I go in with an idea but I don't really like forcing a personality I created into an environment I don't really now yet.  I do enjoy the mechanical part (fights) of DnD the most, I love the system I love how combat works and the RP is a nice treat along with it.  I am fine losing a character, although it did not happen yet to me, but I came pretty close ;)  I would love to hear from you and join your adventure, to satisfy my DnD addiction on Saturdays ;) Are you using point buy or do you roll for stats? Do I start at lvl 1 or do I adapt to the level of the lowest party member? Are there any houserules that I should be aware of?  I hope to play with you on Saturday =)
Hi, I'm 37 and live in the UK.  I've have been playing D&D for a few months and am new to roleplaying but am eager to learn more.   I have a level 1 Human Warlock and a Level 1 Human Paladin ready to go but I've been reading up on character creation so I can knock out a PC to fill a need in the group if required. Thanks.
sry everyone the 2 empty spots have been filled and we are full at the moment
